Alice woke from her deep satisfying slumber and smiled. She looked to her right and saw Dana peacefully sleeping beside her. She watched as Dana’s chest rose and fell with her habitual breathing. Alice got off the bed and to her wardrobe where she pulled out a blanket and laid it on top of Dana. She gently leaned over, brushed a curl of Dana’s hair out of her face and softly kissed her cheek. She replaced her lips with her fingertips and stroked where she’d laid the gentlest of kisses. Alice padded clumsily down the hall and into the bathroom. She inhaled sharply at the coldness of the floor but her body quickly became accustomed to it.

She stopped at the sink and looked into the mirror above her. A smile still playing on her lips, she ran a hand through her messy bed hair, turned round and started to run a bath. Guessing Dana wasn’t going to awaken for a while yet, she poured some bath bubbles into the flow of the hot water as the steam began to cause the mirror to cloud up.

Dana stirred. Her senses heightened by the smell of morning, the smell of ***** and the smell of Alice. She smiled, her eyes still closed, taking in the scent of everything around her. Something wasn’t quite right though. She slowly started to open her eyes and tilted her head to the left and saw the empty space where Alice should’ve been. Her eyes shot open quickly at the realisation Alice was not in the bed beside her. She sat up abruptly, noticing she had a blanket over the top of her. Ruffling it up, she clutched it and partially hid behind it. She was still wearing the clothes from the night before and felt uncomfy in them and so decided to look around Alice’s room for some slacks to put on.

Dana faintly heard the sound of gushing water and surmised Alice had decided to freshen herself up. With some grey slacks and a white tshirt with a maroon dove on the sleeve, Dana tiptoed toward the bathroom. She saw that the door was slightly ajar and she continued to tiptoe right upto it. As she arrived at the door she raised her hand to knock, but stopped when she could she Alice in the mirror. Not knowing she was being watched, Alice began to take her clothes off for her morning bath. Dana stared at Alice as she began to remove her clothing, piece by piece, each revealing more of Alice’s toned body that had never been gazed upon by Dana’s eyes before. She decided to wait until Alice had got into the bath before saying good morning, so she walked on down the corridor with a grin and went downstairs stealthily to the kitchen.

Alice dabbled a foot into the hot water to test it before sliding her graceful body into the water. She rested her head against the end of the bath and cast her thoughts back to her night with Dana. She was smiling in reverie, so to was Dana. Dana had fixed herself a glass of water, drank it eagerly and made her way silently back up the stairs to Alice’s bathroom. She opened the door, expecting Alice to freak out but Dana quickly noticed Alice had her eyes shut.

Effortlessly she crept over to the tub and lowered one of her athletic legs into the bubbly water at the side of Alice’s torso. Alice immediately snapped out of her daydream.

“What the *****.. Dana?!”

Dana slipped her other leg to the opposite side of Alice so she was straddling her amidst the bubbles. She grinned,

“I thought I could do with a bath..” Dana leaned in and gave Alice a quick kiss.

“Dana..” Alice’s expression became serious. “generally when people have baths, or showers, they take their clothes off, ya know? Kinda defeats the object if you’re clothed.”

Dana rolled her eyes and shot her a look. They both grinned.

“So last night..” Dana blurted.

“Yeah..” Alice grinned. “I enjoyed myself..”

Dana grinned cockily.

“But..” Alice’s expression changed to serious again. Dana’s followed.

“That’s no excuse for getting my slacks all wet.” Alice said, looking down at Dana’s legs half soaked in water and bubbles.

“Oh, I’m sorry, would you like me to take them off?” came Dana’s cheeky reply.

Alice giggled as she pulled at her own shirt that Dana was wearing so that Dana’s torso came into contact with Alice’s. Alice snaked her hands around and under the shirt onto Dana’s muscular back and they started to kiss.

No sooner had they began frolicking than they heard the doorbell. They broke the kiss and stared at each other nervously. Wondering if either knew who it was. Knowing it would probably be Tonya.

“Ignore it..” Dana said as she leant into kiss Alice again and slid a hand down Alice’s body, under the remaining bubbles.

The doorbell rang again.

“*****.” Alice said as she reluctantly stopped kissing Dana.

Shane stepped back from the doorbell and looked up at the window. She raised her hands to her mouth and shouted.

“AL! I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE IN THERE!” Shane grinned. She waited for some sort of response.

“*****. It’s Shane. You’ll have to go and let her in Dane, i’m a little bit naked here.” Alice sighed.

Dana nuzzled into Alice’s neck.

“Do I have to?” Dana mumbled.

Alice slid her hands down from Dana’s back to her ***** and gave it a squeeze.

“I’ll make it worth your while..” She said with a wink.

Dana grinned goofily and awkwardly made her way out of Alice’s grasp. As soon as Dana was out of the door Alice cut short her bath and wrapped herself in a towel. Shane was still looking up at the first floor window when Dana opened the door. Shane looked down to Dana and saw her clothes were all wet. She grinned even wider.

“Fairbanks..” She trailed off. “Isn’t it a bit early to be getting wet at this time of the morning?” She joked as she brushed past Dana into Alice’s kitchen. She went to the fridge and pulled out a cold beer. Dana shut the door and followed Shane to the kitchen.

“And isn’t it a bit early to be drinking?” Dana goofily laughed at her own joke.

“Never.” Shane grinned and sat herself on the kitchen counter.

Alice came down in the towel and wrapped her arms around Dana’s waist, resting her head on Dana’s shoulder. Shane looked at the interaction between the two. She took another drink from her beer bottle.

“What the *****? Shane, do you always drink my beer when you come here? It’s ***** 10am too.”

Shane looked at Dana and they grinned at each other.

“So, what can we do for you so early?” Alice said, as she stroked Dana’s stomach.

Shane smiled at Alice using the term ‘we’. She put down her beer and jumped off the counter top.

“It’s time for phase three guys.”
