Tears of sorrow
Floods my eyes
As I hold you in my arms
One last time

I want to pull away
But somehow I couldnt
Trying to whisper in your ear
But instead held back a sob

My soul is weak
Eyes red and puffy
Heart aching
Mind forever searching

It pains me to think
That you will be gone
The uncertainty of your return

As time went past, they waited anxiously outside the room where Dana’s getting treated. Alice’s pains were easing and Shane made her take sleeping pills because she was really tired. Her head rested on Tina’s lap. In fact they were all tired but keeping awake for the doctors results.

Another 20 minutes went past. The door flung open and the doctor came out with a deep sad look on his face. They all stood up except for Alice and Tina.

Shane: How is she??

Doctor: I’m sorry, there was nothing we could do…

Bette, Carmen and Tina looked at Alice with very sad faces. Shane stared at the doctor with an angry, sad expression.

Shane: (shouting) NO! NO!

How could Alice take the news? That Dana’s…gone…forever.

Doctor: (looking up smiling) She’s going to be fine.

They all gave a big sigh and hugged eachother with happpiness and relief. Tina smiled at Alice who was still in deep sleep.
