    Chapter 9 – B&T beginning

     

    “Thank god you’re marrying Brad today otherwise I would have to keep you at a distance from her too” Tina tried to disguise how disturbed she felt at Kelly’s last comment.

     

    “Oh honey being married doesn’t make you instantly blind! Just because you’re on diet it doesn’t mean you can’t look at the menu” Kelly chuckled and Tina just gave her the evil eye.

     

    “I wonder who’s gonna cook at yours and the hot chef’s wedding? I mean she cannot be at the altar and the kitchen at the same time, right?” Kelly said and giggled at her own joke.

     

    “Oh shut up and go have a shower!” Tina said also releasing a small chuckle.

     

    The hours went by and soon the mansion was empty, except for the people working there. Everybody was busy running around trying to arrange everything perfectly for the reception.

     

    “Ok people, talk to me” Bette asked in a loud voice as she moved around the kitchen supervising all the stations, followed by her sous-chef.

     

    “Everything is perfect and right on schedule Chef Bette” Laurel explained to her boss, as she tasted some of the sauces.

     

    “This is really good work Mark, the sauces are perfect. Okay people we’ll take a break. Go sit down, relax and eat something because the real work begins in exactly one hour!” Bette said to all her employees as some of them headed outside and some others went to sit down at the huge table in the back of the kitchen.

     

    The ceremony at the chapel had gone fantastically well and was very moving. Everybody had shed at least a couple of tears as the bride and groom recited their vowels. Once all the photos were taken and everybody had greeted the newly wedded couple; it was time to go back to the mansion and enjoy the rest of the day eating, drinking and enjoying good music.

     

    Little by little the two hundred and fifty guests arrived and were shown to their tables. Two more bars had been installed, since one would be surely insufficient for that amount of people. Bette’s kitchen was also in full swing and all the starters were being assembled. She heard everybody in the next room clapping and cheering loudly and she knew the couple had arrived.

    6. I just caught up on the last few chapters. They are both sooooo obsessed with each other. It’s adorable. I can’t wait to see how they share the slice of cake. :)

And they are so smitten with each other, i hope they can see each other privately while they are there and maybe Tina can spend a couple days with Bette since she will be staying in the area for a little R&R. It owuld be perfect for them to spend a little time together rather than in LA where they can run into all sorts of friends, relatives, and acquaintenances. This way they would be strangers in another town enjoying their time together. Thanks so much for posting. PPS

    11. Oh this is so sweet… I can just see them feeding each other little bites of cake while staring dreamily into each others eyes….kinda like the spaghetti scene in ‘Lady and the Tramp” but with hot lesbians and cake, LOL!

    16. Lovely chapter,Laurel needs to step back she’s had years to make her approach to Bette,Plus I know she can tell Bette’s feelings for her are platonic. Nice rivalry Tina and Laurel vying for Bette’s attention. PPS
