The soft early morning sunlight came in through Tina’s blinds causing Bette to open her eyes. She tried turning to her side so she could fall back asleep when she realized that would be very hard to do since Tina was half sprawled on top of her.  A wicked smile formed on the brunette’s face as the memories of how they had come to find themselves so comfortably linked together in Tina’s bed came into her head. She wrapped her arms tightly around the blonde who held her heart savoring her scent and soft skin. Tina felt Bette move underneath her and slowly awoke.

“Morning” Bette said.

“Ugh no…it’s too soon to be morning already” Tina replied groggily. 

Bette turned her head so she could look at the clock.

“It’s 6:15…looks like I will be doing the walk of shame”  Bette said regrettably knowing she needed to leave soon.

“Shame… Are you ashamed to be here with me?” Tina asked with a worried look on her face.

“No, I am not ashamed. It’s just a silly expression…” Bette said as she leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Tina’s lips.  “I think you know how I feel”

“Bette, we never did talk last night… and I need to be on set in about 45 minutes” Tina said slowly as she propped herself up on her elbow. “Can we meet tonight to talk?  I mean really talk..you know with words coming out of our mouths talking”

“I didn’t hear any objections to what I did with my mouth last night” Bette responded in her sexiest voice.

“You are soo bad” Tina said with a small laugh.  “Tonight, I will come to the house. We don’t have many scenes planned for filming today so assuming that Jenny doesn’t have a melt down I should be there early this evening. Would that work for you?”

“Yes, I will pick up Angie and grab some dinner.  I can only think of one critical thing I have to get done today” Bette sighed. 

Tina gave her a quizzical look.  

Bette took a long breath and exhaled  “I need to break up with Jodi”
