Now I’m Nothing PT 10
10:30 AM Room 919
The doorbell rings. Its 10:30 sharp and Shane looks really sexy holding these exotic flowers. She is holding a dozen of them. They look like they where created in a lab somewhere. I guess creations are the best way to describe them. I have never seen anything like them. They look sharp like they will cut you if you touch them, kinda like Shane.
Shane and Wade exchange pleasantries and intros, me I am peeking through a crack in the door I left a little open. Wade yells that Shane is here. I guess that’s my cue. I got up at 7 in the morning I couldn’t sleep anymore, I couldn’t sleep at all. I couldn’t find a fucking thing to wear, I was freaking out. So I went shopping looking for the perfect thing to wear, which if you thought about it was silly. What was I doing this for, for the maybe, that what Shane and I will get back together? This is what I am thinking as I tear through the racks at some boutique whose name I didn’t even catch.
I settle on a white sun dress with red splatter patterns on it. Everything was happening really fast and I needed to think but I could not. Shane was here and she was waiting. I guess I could think later. I gave myself a once over in the mirror and stepped out the room.
Wade just stood there staring at us waiting for something neither one of us wanted to show him, let alone ourselves.
“So you guys meet right?”
Wade says yeah and Shane says nothing at all. Her eyes are doing all the talking, and what are they saying? They are saying the dress I picked did nothing to hide the revealing or inviting parts of me. Her eyes looked hungry and I felt like the main course.
Wade looked amused.
My face felt like it was on fire.
“Well you ladies have a good time, Carmen you look great!”
God I wanted to kill him. I sent him a hard glare and he laughed on his way out. “Nice meeting you,” was all Shane said but the door was already closing, and the vacuum was sealing us in.

At first I thought why lunch at the planet? but I get it now. Smart that they have the place to themselves. Cool.
haha, Shane’s a sly one, she is. And I don’t know, cacti never really interested me that much, but to each his own, I guess. And that actually reminded me of that Will & Grace episode…. OK, I’m gonna stop procrastinating and write my chapter now. Great update! It inspired me to comment, which doesn’t happen often.
Shane is a smart young lady. Just being herself. No pushing, tho we know she wants to. Just going with the flow. thanks
