They got out of their seats and waved the others goodbye. ‘See you at Milk right?!’ Alice said and she took a bite of her sandwich. ‘Sure thing,’ Shane said as she draped her arm loosely over Carmen’s shoulders. ‘Bye!’ Carmen said before they walked of. They got out of The Planet and went over to Shane’s truck. ‘Now let me drive for a change,’ Carmen said with a mischievous gleam in her eyes as she took the keys from Shane. ‘Guess there’s no point in arguing huh?’ Shane said smiling, shaking her head. ‘Nope,’ Carmen stated matter-of-factly and she got in the drivers-seat. Shane walked around the car and got in as well.

They drove back to Shane’s place, Carmen singing along to the music on the radio, her fingers tapping the steering wheel on beat. ‘Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1999′ she sang excitedly. Shane chuckled and relaxed into her seat. ‘Hmm.. this is some good shit,’ Carmen said as she pulled over in front of Shane’s house. They got out of the car and went inside, to find Jenny eating some cereals at the kitchen table. ‘Hey Jenny,’ Shane said as she dropped the keys on the table. ‘Hey you guys!’ Jenny said excited with her mouth full. Carmen chuckled as she walked over to the couch and sat down. ‘How are ya?’ Shane asked Jenny. ‘I’m good, I’m good,’ Jenny nodded, ‘I’ve been writing mostly.’ ‘Well, tonight you want to come along to Milk? Carmen’s DJing so..’ Shane proposed. ‘Yeah, sure! I would like that. Haven’t been out in a while,’ Jenny answered as she smiled happily. ‘Cool,’ Shane said and she walked over to Carmen. She got on the couch and snuggled close next to Carmen, who was watching TV. Shane made low purring noises as she smelled Carmen’s hair and dropped a kiss to her head. Carmen giggled but kept her eyes focused on the TV. ‘Uhm.. I should be writing right now so.. I’ll be in my room,’ Jenny said absently as she walked past them. ‘Sure Jenny,’ Carmen said and Shane nodded. Shane wrapped her arms around Carmen’s waist and buried her head in Carmen’s neck. Carmen smiled and played with Shane’s hair through her fingers, watching some stupid kungfu-movie on TV. She sighed and turned off the TV. She could see their reflection in the now black screen. They looked cute together, holding each other close. ‘We make a good couple, don’t we?’ Carmen said as she stroked Shane’s hair. Shane lifted her head up from Carmen’s neck and looked at her. She glanced back to see where Carmen was looking at. ‘Mmm’ Shane said in the affirmative as she too saw their reflection in the TV. ‘Very beautiful,’ Carmen said smiling. ‘Yes.. you are, very beautiful,’ Shane said softly and she smiled at Carmen. ‘You are more,’ Carmen said and she kissed Shane’s lips. ‘Oh come on C, you are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen,’ Shane said and she smiled bashfully. Carmen chuckled. ‘Nooo, I’m this fun partygirl. You are the beautiful, like mysterious one,’ Carmen said as she ran both of her hands through Shane’s short dark hair. ‘You are fucking crazy. You are so beautiful. You’re not just a ‘fun partygirl’. I mean, look at you! You are a latina! And a DJ! I can’t think of anything hotter,’ Shane said and she squeezed Carmen’s full breasts playfully. Carmen chuckled and kissed Shane again, this time more passionate. ‘That reminds me of something, I still have to go through some of my music, decide what I want to play tonight,’ Carmen said when their lips parted. ‘Oh, that can wait,’ Shane murmured as she caught Carmen’s mouth with her own again.
