“I still want you. I have been insatiable for you since our reconnection last night. I realized how things could have gone and it spurs me on to want to keep making love to you and you keep making love to me. I love you so much and I haven’t felt this connected since we first started dating. I don’t want to lose this feeling.” Tina said staring deeply into her wife’s eyes. Bette processed what Tina said making her smile her infamous Porter smile and was just about to lean forward to kiss Tina when the blonde, who had finally regained feeling in her lower extremities, jumped up and began pacing. Bette’s brow furrowed at the suddenly demeanor of her wife.
“Baby what is it?” Bette asked cautiously, taking in Tina’s impersonation of an expecting father. Tina stopped and stared at her lover, looking at the breath taking beauty that Bette always seems to have about her. She realized when Bette had begun to pull away. It was when the brunette asked her about marriage and Tina had gone on this tirade about how marriage was some stupid heterosexual ritual and that they should be above it. Tina hadn’t realized it but that was when Bette pulled away. Tina cocked her head to the side, making a decision. One that she knew she should have made a long time ago but just never really realized how much she wanted until now. She moved quickly to Bette and dropped down on to both of her knees. Bette watched as Tina mulled over something then walked towards her with purpose. She was a bit alarmed at how set Tina’s face was and how she looked determined to accomplish something.
“Tee what is it? Why are you look…” Bette started to question, but Tina quickly grabbed Bette’s hands and brought them to her mouth where she placed a delicate kiss on both of them, before looking directly into Bette’s heart and soul. Staring deep into the chocolate brown eyes of her lover, she smiled softly.
“Marry me. Please. I-I want to marry you.” Tina asked full of hope. Bette blinked rapidly trying to understand the blonde’s request. She was certain she heard the question right but she was slightly confused at the request.
