    5:00 P.M.-Friday

“Oh my stars and stripes, Dana Fairbanks how ya been?”

“I’ve been fine, in fact, I’ve never been better. I got the woman of my dreams back.”

“That’s good to hear. Last time we chatted, you sounded desperate for my help. Now, you sound like the Dana I knew back in school. So what brings you to my house?”

“Well I need to ask you a favor.”

“Anything, I mean it’s the least I could do since you hooked my up with my wife.”

“You and Hanna got married? I didn’t even think you two had good chemistry, I just hooked you two up as a joke!”

    “Good bye, Dana.”

“I’m just kidding, what kinda person would that make me?”

“A bitch. Oooooo, the classic Dana death glare, never gets old.”

    “Just test my limits Rendold

“Nope, did that before, didn’t like the outcome. Anyways, what’s this favor you want me to do?”

“Well, remember the woman of my dreams?”

“Wait a minute, her name wasAlice?”

“Yeah, I want you to meet her.”

    “What? Why?”

“She’s a big fan of your work.”

“Really? Nice to know I have fans.”

“Are you kidding? You’re famous in West L.A.“

“Gosh, do you know if I’m famous anywhere else?”

    “Nah, I don’t think you’re that famous.”

“Ouch, that hurt me in a tender spot.”

    “Will you?”

    “What?”

“Meet Alice? I think you two will get along great.”

    “Okay, when?”

    “Tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow? Well, I gotta check in with the wife. Be right back.” Rendold went inside and closed the door. He walked out a couple of minutes later. “Wife’s worse than my mum! She wants to know where I’m goin and at what time.”

“Oh, duh! Meet me at the Planet at”

    “The where?”

“The Planet, it’s a caf in West L.A. Hey that rhymed!” she repeated ‘it’s a caf in West L.A.‘ to herself a couple of times. “Anyways it’s not that far from here it’s like a fifteen minute drive.”
