As Tina left, Bette shut the door and leant against it. She couldn’t help inhaling the aroma of Tina’s perfume. It was very subtle but her nostrils sought it out from the otherwise stuffy room.
*Right, time to think up something to make those girls feel as humiliated as Kate and Jade.*
Smiling, she pushed herself off the door and headed to her desk. A plan started to formulate in her mind. Those 3 would definitely live to regret the moment they took that picture.

Chapter 10
At home later that night, Tina lay on the couch, resting her aching muscles.
It had been another great night for Rentworth. They had beaten John Spence 54-44. There had only been one thing that had tarnished the victory. Kate and Jade had not turned up for the match. Half way through it, Bette had been told both girls had gone home earlier in the day. The whole team felt awful for them both. A few had known something had been going on and had chosen to keep it to themselves. It was non of their business after all. It had, however been great to see both of them enjoying the other’s company.
They vowed to make Kirsty, Megan and Sophie pay.
As the night wore on it had become evident that most students didn’t actually care. As soon as the match finished, Tina rushed home in hopes of getting in touch with Kate. She’d had no such luck.
Now, as Tina lay on the couch, she contemplated getting in the car and driving over to her house. There would be no way of ignoring her then.
Her mind made up, she peeled herself from the couch, grabbed her keys and headed out of the apartment.

Knocking on the front door, Tina stepped back and waited for an answer. A few moments later, Kate’s face appeared in the glass pane of the door. She looked a bit sceptical.
‘Kate, please let me in…’
Tina heard the dull thud of a lock before the door was slowly opened. A very depressed looking Kate stood on the other side.
‘I’m sorry Tina’ Kate said softly. ‘I just wanted to be alone…’

Tina has got to tell her the truth, quit her job, and get on with Bette.. I wish
OMG they’re sharing a bed. I so wouldn’t be able to not touch either one of them. I’m not worried about Tina betraying Bette, I’m worried about Tina’s boss betraying her, hopefully in the end all will be forgiven and our two girls will find a way. Can’t wait till bed time.
Tina doesn’t have to quit her job, but she should either be honest with Bette or stop being in such close proximity to her. She should write a story about a corrupt news paper that wanted her to flirt and intice a good teacher into inappropriate behavior with a student. I hope things turn out OK for these two. You have to be dedicated to your job if you are a reporter, but you don’t have to betraypeople to get a good story.
Yea!!! Can’t wait this should be fun. Max is the scum of the earth. I knew that he wanted the story be about exposing Bette. Be careful Tina, he is not the friend you thought.

I’m glad Tina told Kate…now all she needs to do is let Bette in on her secret! Loved how the picture of Kate and Jade ended up not being a big deal. And you end this chapter with Bette and Tina sleeping in the same bed together! What a torture! Tina will probably wake up while Bette’s having a wet dream about Tina and Bette will be talking in her sleep…and then they wake up in each other’s arms in the morning. I know I wouldn’t be able to stop myself…geez Kelloggs I can’t wait ’til you post again! I love this story! You rock!
Gosh… you’re devilish… making us wait a whole week for the next chapter : having to share a bed with the person you love and desire, and you CANNOT, MUST NOT, WILL NOT be able to touch her —especially since other people are in the same room— is one of the worst tortures (been there twice… I know :-(( So, please, post soon, and don’t let Honda influence you… everything and everybody will come out (yeah, I know ;-) ) fine in the end…I LOVE THIS STORY !!!Please, please

I went on many away trips with my team in high school and college and the coach never slept in the same room. what was bette thinking? or did the school just assume that since she was gay, she wouldn’t mind sleeping with the girls? hmmm…that may a story for tina to explore. he he. good chappter. poor bette and tina.

Here’s me thinking you were being so mean to us with all the teasing, but hey, what you’re doing to THOSE girls is pure torture!… LOL, have them share a double bed for a whoooole night and away from anyone’s eyes is pure and simple devil temptation! this is all going to end up in a disaster…Tina is going to lose her job regardless with all the deceitful things she’s doing. The team will have a wasted season because all their work will be lost due to tina being on the team. Bette will never be able to trust her ever again and lose her job and career plus go to jail. This story has pain written all throughout it…so I guess let them have a nite of fun before it ends up in disaster. I feel sorry for Bette the most, she has the most to lose.
Yep let the games begin, oh I ment the night. For Tina’s story, maybe an expos’e about how some kids treat others because of a difference. Whether that difference be sexual orientation, ethic background, geekyness or some other difference from what is considered the norm.
Omfreakin’god…an uncomfortable sofa bed…what next???…I choose the floor…let Ms Porter follow if she dares…surely the motel can get a cot/fold up bed for one of them…no way r those 2 gonna cope in that uncomfortable bed without staying awake all nite lusting!!!!! what a wicked tale u weave??? What about T writing a story about the cruel man who made her go undercover/tell lies just to get a story to hold onto his career…yup, expose the NEWSPAPER… he wants sex and scandal and he doesn’t care about T’s feelings one iota…rogue deserves to lose his job…who is the boss at that newspaper??? You post weekly and it’s SO not enough! I got dead excited when I remembered you were due an update. This really is one of my favourite stories and to think I have to wait another week for the next update.. GOD! I seriously can’t promise to be patient :( I can’t wait to see how they handle the bed thing.. Let’s hope they don’t handle it.. There’s going to be a LOT of sexual tension in that bed.
