    Author Notes:

    Bette, Alice, and Dana give Shane an intervention and go on a mission to persuade Ryan.

    Alice, Dana, and Bette were sitting and drinking coffee well everybody except Shane, and honestly nobody hoped she showed up. They all loved her but she has become completely intolerable since Ryan broke up with her. Shane walked into the planet and saw her friends and headed over. Bette was the first to notice her.

    Bette: Shit its Shane.

    Dana: We can’t leave now she saw us.

    Shane sits down and the group is silent.

    Alice: How are you Shane?

    Bette swiftly kicks Alice in the shin underneath the table. Alice muffles a moan and whispers sorry to Bette, who just rolls her eyes at her.

    Shane: I cut somebody’s hair today that had the exact same texture as Ryan’s it was so beautiful.

    Dana: That is interesting.

    Shane: Hey and I saw this motorcycle outside this club last night and I went inside to see if Ryan was there but she wasn’t.

    Shane looks at Bette and Bette knew what was up next.

    Shane: Bette do you know if Ryan got the flowers I sent her.

    Bette: I really don’t know exactly I haven’t really spoken to her.  Bette lied.

    Shane: Oh.

    Kit waddled over with their orders.

    Kit: Here you go ladies.

    Shane leaned over and sniffed Kit.

    Kit: Babygirl are you high?

    Shane: No but um what is that fragrance you’re wearing.

    Kit: Oh it’s called Vanilla Dream Angus bought it for me when he came off tour.

    Shane: Oh you know Ryan….

    The group: Yes we know Ryan smells like vanilla.

    Shane: Oh yea right I did mention that before.

    Dana: As well as everything else about Ryan. Dana whispered and Alice nudged her.

    Shane: Huh Dana  

    Dana: What, I didn’t say anything.

    Shane: Oh ok well I have to get back to the shop. I just stopped by to say hi.

    The group signaled their goodbyes and watched Shane leave.

    Alice: Good she’s gone we have to do it today guys.

    Bette: I agree see you at 6

    Dana: Yup six it is.

    Shane got home from work and walked into the living room and to her surprise Bette, Dana and Alice were sitting on her couch.

    1. I had guessed by now that Ryan was the one. So anyway… Shane cracked me up when she started talking about how the hair of the girl had the same texture as Ryan’s. And the whole intervention was very funny. Thanks for writing!
