    Author Notes:

    “Yes, Bette. I want to move back to L.A.”

    Bette searched Tina’s eyes, searching for her sincerity. "Really? You want to move back home?" She anxiously inquired.

    "Yes, Bette. I want to move back to L.A."

    Bette scooped Tina off of the counter and swung her around in a circle before gently placed her back down onto her feet and entrancing her in a slow, long, passionate kiss.

    They broke the kiss and began walking around the house and into their old back patio. Everything looked so worn, so dead. Seven months of emptiness and now the home needed a lot of care. Even though it was still undeniably gorgeous, it didn’t have quite the same feel of liveliness it once did.

    Tina’s face was filled with joy after her confession and she noticed a certain distance in Bette’s face.

    "Bette," Tina began calmly.

    Bette looked into Tina’s eyes and looked away briefly. "Bette. You’re scaring me. What is wrong?" Tina asked nervously.

    "Nothing, I just… There’s just a lot of memories here. Some which are really bad, “She explained.

    Tina searched Bette’s face but still found a hidden concern or thought.

    "What else?" Tina questioned.

    "Nothing. That’s all baby," Bette defended reaching for Tina’s hand. Tina pulled her hand away and walked over to sit on the stairs a few feet from once filled pool.

    "You’re not telling me everything, Bette. I know you better. You’ve got to be honest with me," Tina said firmly.

    "Honest? You want me to be completely honest?"

    "Yes."

    "Ok," Bette sat down beside Tina and looked her directly in the eyes. "We were trying to adopt here and all of a sudden we stopped when we got to New York."

    "I know that," Tina’s head hung low briefly and then she recanted, "but we were just trying to get the house in order before we…"

    "Tina, please let me finish," Bette interrupted.

    "Sorry," Tina breathed.

    "Through all of that, you never asked me if I wanted to have the baby." Bette began to silently cry as her head fell forward. Tina’s expression shifted quickly into a state of shock over what she had just heard. She immediately engulfed her dark goddess in her arms and comforted her.

    "You want to carry a baby?" Tina questioned.

    1. I always loved the idea of Bette having a baby, I’m glad that she finally talked to Tina about it! Bring on the wedding, moving back to LA and Bette expecting! Can’t wait BRING IT ON!!! lol

    3. Just finish reading the lastest two posted chapters, so the girls are movign back to LA. Question-I live in New York so I now it is huge, but since Bette and Jodi actually live and breathe art, how is it that they never ran into ech other, or did they? And she never told Tina. So weddding, baby and back to LA. Let me guess the drama, Jodi back and Bette secretly looking for Tina’s sister. This is going to be good, or maybe not. We shall see.

    5. well it took me a while but i read all of your chapters… and loved everyone one… my guess is that jodie will be coming back… if not looking for tom and then discovering bette is moving back.. wouldn’t put it past jodie that she was watching them in NY… and as much as i LOVE NY…(I live in NY) i want them back in LA too… they belong there with their family… and i always loved the idear of bette being pregnant… the only bad part about finishing all of the chapters is that i now wait for you next post… great story… (Oh and the donor should be a blond… this way he or she looks like tina… and tina should tell bette about her past… she did nothing wrong… and bette will help her through that… i think i got everything… pps
