Bette was laughing at her big sister’s craziness then she heard someone greeted her
“Hello there!”
Bette turned to the direction where the voice was coming from and saw a familiar friendly face that she used to see before whenever she took a stroll along the magnificent Ambrosia Lake
“Oh Hi! I remember you!” the brunette replied with a huge smile on her face
“I haven’t seen you here in a long while?” the old woman said
Bette walked closer to the old woman and noticed that she was sitting on a wheelchair
“Yeah well I got really busy; by the way my big sister Kit bought that house” Bette replied pointing to Kit’s house
“Hold on I know I’ve seen you here several times before walking and sitting on the grass while reading a book but I don’t think I know your name”
“Yes I don’t think so… I’m Bette Porter by the way” the brunette said then laid her hand out to the older woman
The older woman smiled and took the caramel skinned beauty’s hand then shook it
“Nice to finally know your name Bette, I’m Jean… Jean Kennard”
Chapter Thirty-One
Just a mere mention of that last name made Bette’s heart skipped a beat
“Same here Jean”
Long before she met Tina, Bette used to see the older woman there before whenever she walked along the lake, the place that served as her sanctuary for the longest time. When she felt sad and weary she would just found herself either walking or sitting on an empty bench just admiring the beautiful work of nature. She found solace in doing just that. Although she and Jean Kennard would exchange brief pleasantries and smile at each other, for some odd reason, they never had the opportunity for a proper introduction, only now.
When Tina brought her there on their date to lose her virginity, she had wondered if the blonde was somehow related to the old woman on the wheelchair and as she looked now at the old woman’s face she could clearly see the great resemblance and thought that Jean Kennard could be Tina’s mother.
Jean looked at the house that Bette pointed to a few minutes ago then turned her gaze back to the beautiful brunette and furrowed her brows “I didn’t know that Katherine has another sister?”

Now there’s one thing that i find intriguing, everytime Sam said “i love you” Tina would reply “ditto” …hmm that’s somethng interesting! POST SOON SWEETIE!!
