The Other Woman in the Room

“Hey you’re here…” Tina gasped at the familiar voice. She turned around and her heart began to pound hard as she saw the stunning brunette standing by the door.

“Hi…”the blonde replied, she didn’t expect for her to be there alone in the room

“What are you doing here alone?” the brunette asked her voice was soft

“I don’t know…” the blonde replied. Bette started walking closer to her; the sight of the beautiful blonde in a black sexy number was bringing the desire back to her blood once more

“What are you doing here?” Tina asked her back

“I just want to see a familiar face I guess” Bette’s left hand was inside her pocket while her other hand was holding a drink, there were soft and comfortable chairs inside the office but for some reason neither of them wanted to sit. Bette fought the urge to take another step towards the blonde who was just standing in front of her; instead she turned around and looked at Sam’s numerous recognitions that were neatly framed and hanging on the wall.

Tina just stood still she couldn’t move a muscle because the brunette’s presence was making her dizzy with desire that she had to lean against the side of the dark wooden table for support.

“So are you here for Sam?” for the first time the brunette felt a pang of jealousy when Sam told her and Sarah that the woman that she had been wanting to date since high school was there at the party and that her name was Tina Kennard.

“Yes…” the blonde answered, she was trying to gauge the brunette’s reaction but she couldn’t see it as Bette’s back was facing her.

A moment of silence enveloped the air then the blonde decided to break it

“So you’re here with Sarah?”

“Yes”

“I’m happy for you” the blonde said

Bette was surprised at what the blonde had said; she turned around to face the blonde “Really? Why?”

“Because I know that you’ve always wanted to go out with her, right?”

“Yeah…” Bette answered but she couldn’t look at Tina because she’s afraid that the blonde would see the unmistakably desire flaming in her eyes

                Although she knew that Bette had feelings for Sarah but to hear the brunette confirm it was something that she couldn’t bear so Tina thought she didn’t want to make things more painful to her so she just decided that the best thing to do was to walk away. As she started to take a step towards the door and away from Bette she felt a strong hand grabbed her wrist, she was surprised by Bette’s sudden move and the next thing that she knew was that Bette’s one hand was grabbing her neck as the brunette crashed her lips against hers. 

                The kiss was hungry and powerful and when their tongues met once more chill went down their spine.  Tina couldn’t believe that what was happening was true but she just found herself running her hands thru the brunette’s thick curls, which was something that she loved to do every time they kissed.

                Bette couldn’t get enough of Tina’s soft cherry lips and she thought she could get addicted to it. She didn’t think of the consequences that the kiss would bring because all she was thinking about was that she just had to taste her lips again. Tina’s body seemed to be floating in the air as Bette’s kisses were igniting the fire in her, she moaned when she felt her back pressed against the cold surface of the wall. They didn’t know how long the kiss was but when they broke it the two women were gasping for air, they just looked at each other’s eyes in silence and both began to panic when they heard footsteps and voices coming their way…
