Masked Feelings CH 61 Time for Honesty

He was now in the garage again. David had wiped down the car before he left, but the floor was still bloody. There were some cleaning supplies in the cupboard above the workbench. He grabbed the first bottle and poured it on the half-dried blood stain. Scrubbing vigorously, he noticed the blood was coming up but the concrete was now stained red. He tried another bottle of cleaner, but that one didn’t work either. Now frustrated at his circumstances, he starts to lose his cool and swears at the spot on the floor.

David looks around the garage for anything that might change the appearance or cover up the stains. Just when he was about to give up, he found something. The jug said "muriatic acid." The liquid was the consistancy of a syrup. When it was poured on the floor, he could see a light smoky vapor rising. It appeared to be etching through the red stain. He smiled wildly, thinking that maybe he should’ve used it on Mrs. Lewis instead. Surely, this could dispose of a human body… but sadly there was not enough of it to try it. He would have to return to his original plan and move her to a place where no one could find her. Maybe he could use the acid at another time… for someone else.

It was time to get rid of Mrs. Lewis and the car. He draped a large garbage bag on the driver’s seat. Just in case he didn’t get rid of all the blood, he didn’t want any to get on the coveralls. He opened the garage door and backed the car into the driveway. Using the remote, he closed the door behind him. There appeared to be no activity in the neighborhood, except for the vehicle that was coming in his direction… it was a police car. David’s pulse quickened… feeling a slight rush of adrenaline coursing through him, when he saw the cruiser’s spotlight being used. They were apparently looking for someone… hopefully not him. The officer flashed the light in the car as he went past but he didn’t stop. David took a deep breath when he watched the car disappear in his rearview mirror.

His senses were extremely sensitive now. He was on alert for anything. It was his life on the line if he got caught… and that was not going to happen. Nothing about this was easy, except for the actual killing. Now that he was at the Long Beach pier, he had to be on the lookout for security. David turned off the headlights and moved slowly through the numerous objects on the pier… mostly huge storage units. It was like driving through a maze. He drove to the edge of the pier and looked around. Using the controls for the electric windows, he rolled them all down. Inching closer to the side with the front tires resting on the edge, he climbs out and quietly shuts the door. Putting the car in neutral, he steps to the back of the vehicle and gives the car a shove. The tires rolls forward and the undercarriage hits the pier… coming to a halt. The car is stuck…. and as hard as he tried, it wouldn’t budge. David was coming close to losing it altogether, but as luck would have it… there was another way. There was a forklift only 25 feet away.

    1. Should you continue? That’s not even funny! I like the fact that they finally had their talk. Honesty is a good thing, even if it doesn’t solve all of the problems immediately. I’m also glad Alice finally told Dana that she loved her. David is scaring me. He’s so much worse than his nut-case sister, Lara.

    2. Great chapter babe, I’m wondering where this David thing is going he sounds super psycho. I like that Dana and Alice’s relationship is maturing, hopefully so is Roxy but I get the feeling that she hasn’t matured just become a better liar. Kristen seems a little off balance and I hope that she can get it together so Dana won’t have anti-Alice propaganda in her ear constantly. Great chapter I hope you do better than I’ve been doing post again soon I can’t wait to read more. Love you

    3. I really do love this story. You do such a great job with it. The whole talk went much better than I thought it would. Yay! And while I realize that there is much angst to come, it’s definitely worth it to read this story. Kudos to you.

    4. YAY! YAY! YAY! This was an awesome chapter as always. Amazing work you put into this. You’re soooooo cruel. Who would come up with acid? Only you, for sure:-) That was a great idea. But I love you for your imagination and the way you think about the ongoing plot.First, I was scared that the police catch David but like it’s mostly the case and I like to say: fortune favors fools, lol. Although, for a sick boy like David he’s not a fool at all. He knows exactly how to manage his atrocities and how to plan them in every single detail. I loved the way you made him clean up his “mess”, lol. Maybe he should consider taking a job as a cleaner?? That would totally fit him. I can imagine him wearing a skirt and a wig, looking like the second Mrs. Doubtfire, lol. Only with the difference being an evil fellow. What about his past life? Did he ever have had a girlfriend? Or was Lara his onlylove? Egghhh, I shouldn’t even think about it, lol. See, it’s your influence, lol. Finally Alice and Dana had a talk:-) I’m so glad they straightened out some things. It was prettyimportant for me to hear that Alice still loves Dana but at the beginning I thought I would get a heart attack for I thought Alice had changed her mind. You tease! lol Mhhmmm, dancing with Dana must look pretty sexy. Well done, Alice:-) In the first moment, I wanted to start screaming as Alice backed away from Dana. I was like: oh my god, what is she doing? Please, go back and hold her close. Thanks for letting them sway to the music:-) It must have been quite a view. Also loved the way that they’re trying to be honest from that point on. I think, it’s a big step for them. Alice talking to Roxy was pretty interesting. Seems, like she has changed a bit comparing her with your earlier chapters. And I have to admit that I miss her fighting harder for her love although it’s not fair to Dana. Well, you said you don’t describe the way your characters look like. Therefore, as she seduced Alice and betrayed Dana, I imagined her being a bulldog, lol. Yeah, perhaps a little harsh but it only shows how I loved her, lol. By now, I won’t dare even to say that, but she seemslike a marshmallow, lol. That’s what I call a softy:-) Don’t use that quote against me, that would be unfair, lol. Poor Kristen. I feel sorry for her though she has no clue Roxy plannedthe whole thing with her husband. I hope, she figures it out soon. Till then she’ll go on dissing Alice and nobody does like seeing it, right? Okay, except me maybe, lol. It would be interesting seeing Kristen and Alice getting into a fight. Who could win this? lol I have to say, I’m totally jealous of you kissing MY Dana, lol. We could share, lol. What will happen if Lara shows up? Another big disaster? And with David I’m sure they’ll have a blast doing whatever they plan to. Maybe Roxy and Andrea will cross their ways? Yay, showdown, lol.I hope you were just kidding with your question if you should continue. OF COURSE, YOU SHOULD!!!! How many heart attacks do you want me to have in one night? lol Please, please, please continue! You know, I love your story. I would be the happiest woman if I read another installment:-) Can’t wait to do so. Many kisses and hugs:-))) Love ya, darlin’

    5. “should i continue?”… what kind of question is that? how can you even ask that? you know the answer don’t you? in case you don’t, it’s “yes, please continue”. because if you don’t myself and several others will hound you to death until you do. you can’t just pump up this story with drama, sex, intrigue and love and then stop without wrapping it up! that’s just cruel. as usual this is another great chapter. i do feel like we are all being set up for something intense, i just haven’t figured out what it is yet. is lara alive? did her brother just steal her body and now keeps its laying neatly on a bed somewhere? did he off the parents? is sara next? will roxy find him and get him to go after the mobsters? will kristin go totally mental and go on a shooting spree? as always you have me white knuckling it hanging on the edge of my seat! keep up the good work you sicko!! : )

    6. Bravo brteyes!! David is truly a psycho freak…a calculating killer who thrives on it,im really frightened right now sniff, sniff. Has Roxy given up chasing Alice?…i can hope, lol. Kristen is channeling all her anger towards Alice and i hope it will be Dana who tells her that she is out of order. Danish talking and being more open and honest with each other has cleared the air to alot of confusion, its a major start and even showing a bit of committment can go along way!I think Alices therapy sessions helped to give her the courage to tell Dana that she loved her and it was much needed! I sense something intense is coming our way, but i cant tear myself away. Yes,yes, yes…i care to read more!!

    7. I’m gonna give you another ego boost coz HELL YES you should continue! I’ve been a follower since the first chapter and there’s no way your getting off lightly with just wrapping it up now! :P Awesome post though, I think this is my favourite story, so much cuteness, so much happiness so much love then…David, eww I don’t like him, he creeps me out! Anyways keep up the amazing work xx

    8. I wonder who David is going to go after next, Alice, Dana or even Roxy. Too bad he can’t just mishandle the acid and be overcome by chlorine gas. Please continue, you just can’t end just when Dana and Alice start talking to each other, besides there is that sequel you have mentioned.

    9. I know my hope was slipping not from this great story but from some sort of happy danish ending. Thank god you set me straight! I loved the talk, it’s a good start to a new beginning. David is a weirdo what the hell is he up too?? Kristen is acting a bit weird…oh and that last bit..not funny! Hell yes you should continue, you better not leave me hanging like this! Anyway great update as ever. Oh and I loved that Alice told Dana she loved her..ahhh

    10. I don’t sleep much to begin with, so don’t take it as too much of a stroke to your ego. This better be the last sexless chapter, although I have to give you kudos for the ending … even if you plan on dragging this out further & toying with my emotions. Don’t think that you know what makes me tick, just because you know I enjoy sex … honey, that’s just the tip of the iceburg. So you’ve been upgraded so a twisted, sadistic, dirty tease … don’t you feel special? David is thoroughly creepy … it will be nice to see him given some more dimension. As for the Dana/Alice role reversal, I didn’t say I didn’t like it … I said you thrive on conflict … thankfully I don’t mind conflict, provided it has a resolution. For insistance, plenty of conflict in this chapter, but having Dana & Alice begin to openly communicate makes a world of difference in how it could have ended. As for creating a monster … bring it on babe … let’s see what you got. I’m willing to put in the time, if you’re willing to out do yourself. And the final bit … the shall I continue … I’m not going to dignify that one. Happy Writing!

    11. YES!! please continue! Thats awesome that they’re starting to work things out with each other. I’m sensing something bad is gonna happen with the whole David thing though. Well..doesnt matter to me, as long as Dana and Alice work out, I’m happy. Good job, can’t wait to read more!

    12. What a question … of course you must continue. Fantastic that Alice & Dana have finally had a talk – which must leave loads more to write about, and then there is David – oh my God, what a nasty piece of work – please don’t let him harm our girls.

    13. omg of course continue.. i just love this story. damn that roxy is killing me.. everytime i read her name i wanna rip my eyes out. what is it with dana and alice that every obssesive pyscho falls for them lol ahh i’m also dying to know the deal with the mystery man.. u are going to continue right? there is still so much to tell with this story.. and i cant wait to read lol so this is my first comment and i’ve gotta say: Thank you!!…
