Kristen was worried about Dana. She had tried to call her on her cell phone but it appeared it was out of service. The agent had drove by the house earlier but no one was home. She thought about going past again but she really needed to get home. Kristen was curious about the woman that had dropped Dana off earlier that morning, so she wrote down the license plate number. She planned to run the plate through the DMV first thing in the morning. Kristen hoped that Alice had followed her advise and planned to stay with a friend. With Roxy on the prowl, it wasn’t a good idea to be alone. She hoped that her circle of friends would be there for her. Dana needed someone… she tried to be that someone but Dana was too hurt to let anyone in. She was praying that she didn’t do anything desperate, but Dana wasn’t in her right mind either.
Alice didn’t know how long she had stood in the shower, but the water was starting to get cold. She shut off the water and got out…. toweling off then slipping on Dana’s robe on the back of the door. She brought the collar of the robe up to her nose to take in her scent. Alice didn’t want to think about what was going to happen when Dana woke up. Even though Dana was aggressive and especially rough with her, she left quite an impression on her. The things that she could do when she was angry, just showed her how passionate she was. Alice was holding on to the idea that Dana couldn’t have fucked her if she didn’t have some kind of feelings left for her. She didn’t want to think about it being the other thing… an act of violence. Someone doesn’t change that much and she liked to think that she knew everything about her best friend… or almost everything.
Reluctantly, she went out to the livingroom to see if Dana was awake. When Alice looked down at the floor where they had been, she was surprised to see her gone. Alice looked all over the house, starting with her bedroom…. but she was nowhere to be found. Was it possible that she ran off again? She blamed herself for what happened between them. She wished she would’ve had the backbone to make Dana stop… but she wanted her even though she knew she’d feel like shit afterwards. What probably drove her off was what she did to Dana… giving her what she wanted the most… the release of tension. Her mind was going a hundred miles an hour with possible ideas as to why Dana left the way she did.
Alice plopped down on the couch and feeling her head start to pound. She was feeling chilled again, but this time it had to do with the draft she felt. When Alice looked up it was the first time she notice the front door was ajar. Normally she wouldn’t worry about such a thing but Dana walked out…. and left the door open? That was so unlike her… not her at all in fact.

wow… i’ve been following this story from the beginning. you really have me wondering what the heck is gonna happen. but, i like it. i’m really into it.
I feel better about Bette, and yes, Alice gets more sympathy now. definitely concerned about what happened to Dana…
The things you do to me brteyes, I have to say you know how to start a chapter off right. I like how you’ve kept this Danish relationship so interesting, the sex was incredible. It’s hard to imagine two people having the chemistry that Dana and Alice do, but I know it’s possible. I feel the same passion and love for my girlfriend, and the way you write makes it so easy to see in my mind. I love the transitions in this chapter, it really plays out like a television show. If I was Alice I can’t say I wouldn’t have done anything to keep Dana (but then again I wouldn’t have cheated but you get it). I think Alice really needs to see that counselor, she hasn’t dealt with anything that has happen to her and I think she’s being just as destructive as Dana is. It’s great that Bette is supporting Tina even though she doesn’t like what’s going on. This mystery man intrigues me very much I can’t wait to see who he is and what his agenda is….OMG it’s Tonya isn’t it? She turned herself into a man and now she’s scheming to win Dana back by paying Roxy to seduce Alice then being Dana’s rebound. Am I right? I’m so right lol? Well I guess this will have to be a shorter comment, I’m talking to my woman and she needs my undivided attention. Congratulations on another year and great chapter I can’t wait to see what happens to Dana. P.S. Shame on you for writing a cliffhanger, guess that 50th chapter is going to be a biggie huh?
Now this sex scene reminded me of the Alice and Roxy no limits sex with Alice (and Dana) giving into physical cravings knowing that the emotional price might be high, although in this case it was Alice trying to make a connection. I am worried about Dana (I am sure Roxy still wants to even the score and David is still out there) but I tend to worry about both Dana and Alice in this fic with all the twist and turns.
god I love this but where is dana and what has happened to her I hope that she is ok please post soon I love it great update as always

If I haven’t commented on this fic before … damn did I pick a good one to start with. I have been reading this fic for quite some time & I’m not sure I can continue to read it anymore … simply put … I think you freakin’ melted my brain. That was one of the hottest 2 chapters I have read in recent memory … I’m so glad I read 48 & 49 at the same time. This wild rollercoaster ride you have taken all of us on is truly wonderful. Keep it coming … all puns intended.

Eek! Poor Danish! They never get a fucking break do they?! This chapter was hot and heartbreaking all at the same time! Great job, and I can’t wait to see what happened to Dana….or can I?
oh my god I’m so torn, that was so good, it definately left a lasting impression on me! I’m totally intrigued by this mystery man and all the underhand games that everyone’s playing. I’m very worried about Dana, but I’m still holding out hope that everything is going to work out. great update :)
Wow this chapter was intense! I like the bits of hope you’re giving me with Dana trying to fight off her connection with Alice but still feeling something there. That gives me hope that they will be able to find there way back together. Great update! Can’t wait till next week!
Wow…It’s hard to believe that chapter 50 is on it’s way and you have so much more to tell. Good to know though! This mystery man is really getting to me, who is he (she) and what are his intentions. The sex was hot and heartbreaking at the same time. What the hell happened to Dana…and I’m also glad Tina didn’t walk in on them, they need to sort some stuff out before talking to their friends. Thanks so much for this posting and I’m already looking forward to number 50!!..X
I thought I had to wait untill next Sunday! I felt so sorry for Alice and Dana…but this time a little bit more for Alice. It must be so heartbreaking for Alice to know that the woman she loves is totally shutting her out.Did Dana run off again, did Roxy kidnap her, or….(well, I don’t know)? There are enough people who are keeping an eye on Dana’s house…so somebody will know what happened to Dana. ;) And I’m still thinking about that ‘prophetic’ line Roxy used a whole lot of chapters ago…it still can come in handy. :DI think Dana will run into Lara’s twin brother very soon. (For a second I thought he could be the mystery man…but he is protecting Alice, so that wouldn’t make any sense…and in my head Lara’s brother is a moron, he is no way smart enough to be the mystery man). So the 50th chapter will be next, it is 2 times my favorite number, so that chapter must be a blast! :D And oh yes, I’m such a ‘spoiler-whore’…ofcourse I want to have one (or some) mysteries revealed! :D I’m off to work now, but you’ll be hearing from me (mmh, that sounds more like a threat…but it really isn’t :))!
