A week later…

“Promise me you won’t be irresponsible!” Jacqui begged as she gathered the rest of her things

“Jacqui you’re my wife not my mum chill out” Amy huffed as she sat on the sofa

“I don’t trust you not to go near that stupid basketball hoop” Jacqui admitted

“Babe I can hardly walk for more than five minutes I don’t think you have anything to worry about…the most I will do is go to my Mums” Amy explained

“Promise?”

“Yes I promise…now go or you will be late”

“Anything at all you phone me ok and I’ll be straight home” Jacqui said as she leaned over the sofa “Kiss!”

Amy softly kissed Jacqui

“I love you” Jacqui smiled stealing another kiss

“Love you too” Amy said shaking her head

Jacqui left and Amy sighed. She picked up her laptop and started doing some paperwork.

“Do you think she’ll go near it?” Ashley asked

“I’d like to hope not because she’s still in a lot of pain” Jacqui sighed putting on her scrubs

“I’ll kill her myself if she does” Ashley stated

“She’s deflated about it all, she’s getting frustrated because she still can’t walk without the crutches” Jacqui explained

“She’s trying to run before she can walk as always” Ashley smirked “She amuses the life out of me…I love her determination”

“Who’s” Spencer asked

“Amy’s” Ashley said pulling Spencer towards her and kissing her softly “You going home now?”

“Nope I’m going to annoy Amy” Spencer smiled “I haven’t seen her this week because I’ve been working”

“Think she’s doing paper work” Jacqui smiled

“She is but were going to the centre later” Spencer told them “And before you start she’s only going to let me hear some stuff she’s not doing any work”

Ashley and Jacqui quickly shut up.

“You two need to lighten up she’s 28 for god sake” Spencer laughed

“I’m her doctor I’m allowed to be concerned” Ashley smirked

“And I’m her wife so I have every reason to be concerned I know what she’s like” Jacqui laughed “I’ve been with her for 10 year”
