    The Planet

     

     

    Alice, Dana, Tina and Jenny are all seated at there usual table drinking there morning coffee and breakfast.  Shane hasn’t made it in yet.

     

     

    An older very distinguished lady walks into the Planet.

     

    Alice:  Wow! I wonder who that lady is?  She just reaks wealth!

     

    Dana:  Alice!

     

    Alice:  What Im sorry but she does look at her!  She looks familiar but I just cant place her.

     

     

    Older lady:  Excuse me.  Is Kit Porter available?

     

    Waitress:  No, I’m sorry she hasn’t made it in yet.  Are you Ms. Peabody?

     

    Ms. Peabody:  Yes, I am.

     

    Waitress:  Well, please have a seat.  She asked me to tell you that she is running a few minutes behind but she will be here as soon as possible.  Can I get you anything?

     

    Ms. Peabody:    Please, may I have a black coffee and a pastry.  I will be seated right over there.

     

     

     

    Alice:  I know I have seen her somewhere before.

     

    Dana:  Alice!  Let it go.

     

    Tina:  No, Dana.  Alice is right she does look familiar but I can’t place her either.

     

     

    About that time Kit walks in.

     

    Alice:  Hey, there’s kit!  Kit!  What the hell?  Who is that she’s carrying.

     

    All the girls turn and look and in walks Kit carrying a little boy.  Kit stops and talks to the waitress behind the counter and she points to the distinguished lady that had walked in earlier.

     

    Kit:  Peggy!!

     

    Peggy smiles and rises from her chair.  Kit it is so great to see you how’s my little man.

     

    The little boy just grins at seeing Peggy and stretches out to her. 

     

    Kit:  he is just great!  I have enjoyed these last three days.

     

    Peggy:  I’m sure you have Kit and we both really appreciate you keeping him for that time.  You know it was very difficult for her to leave him.  Even for that short of a period.  She has never been away from him.

     

    Kit:  I know.  When is she due in?
