Loving Jenny – Chapter 6: Never Again
“Jenny,” I found myself mumbling, “we should stop. This isn’t right.”
“I know this isn’t right,” she answered back, “but it’s not stopping us, now is it?” I shook my head ‘no’, and brought my kisses down to the pale mounds of flesh my hands loved, and after a long while, I finally gave in, seeking out the warm flesh between her thighs and exploring it with my fingers. I pushed and pulled, moving my hand in time with the rhythm of her moaning. I kissed her, drunkenly trying to taste the vodka laced moans she released. She sought out my bourbon flavored moans in return as she let her hands explore me.
Before we could stop ourselves – not like we gave a damn at that point – we both crumpled against each other, basking in the forbidden glow we had both obtained through the types of pleasures friends were not supposed to share.
I was brought out of my reverie by the opening and closing of Jenny’s bedroom door. I turned, trying to catch a glimpse of her face. When she walked out of the hallway and entered the area between the living room and the kitchen, we locked eyes. She examined my face, showing signs of guilt and dishevelment. She pulled her bathrobe tighter around her.
“Good morning,” she quietly mumbled. With anyone else, her words wouldn’t have been heard. I heard them clearly.
“Good morning. I made some coffee,” I responded. Jenny nodded and made her way into the kitchen, immediately pouring herself a cup of coffee. I watched like an enchanted child as she poured the cream, and then the sugar, stirring lightly with a teaspoon. I turned my head away from her and heard the clink of the spoon hitting the porcelain sink, closing my eyes as I heard the shuffle of slippered feet make their way to me. I picked up my coffee mug, sipping the warm coffee, and smirked slightly at Jenny as she took a seat next to me on the couch. The couch. Last night came back to me again, if only for a second. I was almost sure Jenny saw it too.
“How’s your head?” she asked. I turned to her.
“What?”
“Your head. Is it pounding from the hangover?” she asked. I chuckled lightly.
