She hadnt planned on caring for her.  It wasnt love, that she knew.  There wasnt anyone Helena Peabody met that deserved that emotion from her.  But there was something about Tina that kept drawing her back to her. 

If dear mother hadnt talked so rhapsodically on a return trip from LA about Bette Porter this, Bette Porter that, my curiosity and jealousy wouldnt have caused me to find out who the ***** was. 

And lo and behold, I find out that the great Bette Porter cheated on Tina.  Just perfect.  Mother in the mean time had given me authority to disseminate grant money.   The great Bette Porter comes to New York practically begging me to fund the CAC.  Thanks, mum, that gave me the chance to meet your darling.  I so enjoyed watching her grovel.   And who else among the long list of applicants for grant money?  Why, Tinas new place of volunteer work, a social justice center, and she wrote the proposal.  So, sight unseen, ***** the CAC and lets give that social justice center big bucks.  Now, as the largest recipient of grant money, it was only proper that I fly out to LA to meet the writer of this tear jerker proposal.

And meet her I did.  Now, it wouldnt have mattered if she werent beautiful and pregnant.   All I cared about was making sure that I won over Bette Porters woman.   The bonus?   She was beautiful and pregnant and in just the right state of emotional upheaval that it was a cinch to win her over.

What I didnt count on was this ***** love ***** Tina was still holding on to for her Bette.  I had her going there for several months.  She sure loved the attention.  Who wouldnt after you just got your heart kicked in the gutter?   Piece of cake winning her.  Keeping her – well, that didnt work out.   Probably just as well, because if she started talking relationship *****, monogamy and all that other wasted ethical bullshit, I would have just dumped her in the same manner I did my ex.

To me, its the principle now.  I cant stand the fact of Bette Porter winning. I didnt count on her playing Wonder Woman either.  I had to deliver some kind of revenge for her slamming her fist in my faceplus the humiliation of bringing my mother to Tinas apartment. 

My luck? Theres always a number of people who will hate someone like Bette Porter.   And it didnt take long to find Faye Buckley.  What a prize find that was, too.  Christ, I didnt tell her to take a knife to her.   Nice to know these people take their hate so seriously though.   I actually never told her to hurt her.  I just said the right things to have her think that up all by her lonesome.  I do have that effect on people.

Fool, because now shell most likely be spending time in jail.  Only good thing about that is Faye Buckley will have plenty of time to think up some more revenge and she wont need any pushing from outside sources to do it.  I would imagine living in a six by ten jail cell will give you all the motivation you need to cultivate your revenge. 

So now Tina is back with her Bette and baby makes three.  But me thinks theres always other avenues to get people to see the light you want them to see.  Oh,yes.   And Ms. Tina Kennard is not exempt from taking a walk down an avenue of my choosing
