    Uh, T, I owe you a couple of scarves.

     

    Tina looked at Bette quizzically.

     

    Those two scarves I used on the ***** – sorry, on you know who were on the floor in your bedroom and I tossed them.

     

    Bette, we could have had them cleaned.  They were expensive and beautiful.  You gave them to me.

     

    Well, Ill get you replacements.  No amount of cleaning would get the stink of her out of them

     

    Okay, okay.  I understand.  Tina quickly changed the subject.  Its going to feel great getting back into regular clothes again.

     

    Well, you look beautiful either way, T.  Where do you want me to put your clothes?

     

    Theres a small closet.  Why dont you put them in there.   And then it hit her.  Bette got several pairs of panties for her.   The picture was tucked away in that drawer

     


     

     

     

    If Bette saw the picture, Tina would have been embarrassed.  Especially for the note she taped to the front of it.   Bette wouldnt even take her apartment keys without asking me, so I dont believe she would have pulled the picture out.  If everything hadnt happened with Helena the way it did the night she attacked me, I probably would have just taken care of it before I saw Bette again.   Too much happened and it was the furthest thing from my mind.  I dont want Bette to feel any more pain.  Weve caused each other enough hurt.

     

    Bette is not acting like she saw it.  Stop fretting, Tina.  Youll explain to her the next time youre over at the apartment together.

    Bettes question broke Tinas thought processing.  Yeah, Dana, Shane, Carmen & Jenny were here.  They walked in when I was on the phone with you

     

    No, T, please dont tell me they heard any of that!

     

    No, no, I was just hanging up when they walked in.  Dont fret, babe.

     

    Bette let out a sigh of relief.   All the girls knew how Bette felt about Tina and she about her, especially now since theyve gotten back togetherbut she didnt like sharing their intimacies with anyone.  Especially Alice!  It would just add ammo to her already well supplied arsenal of repartee.

    2. arcee, boy oh boy, you have really thrown some curves in the last few chapters that I did not expect. Really have enjoyed your stories. Please keep them coming. Please let someone tie Helena and Faye together planning the crime and get them both thrown in the pokey. This Yale law professor, please don’t let her do anything to Bette,Tina and Angelica. They need to have PEACE and Love in their lives right now, not another wacko.
