Even though Bette and Tina were back together, the tales of their breakup still lingered. At first Susan only heard of ‘the carpenter.’ No one seemed to care that she had a name. But since Susan was on a mission involving this infamous couple, she needed to have all the facts, or alleged facts, and that included names. With a few well-placed questions, it was only a matter of time before whisper down the lane brought ‘the carpenter’s’ name to her.
Susan knew her ‘employer’ well enough to know that she would always have a backup contingency plan. She had to make sure ‘the carpenter’ didn’t win this game because Susan doesn’t like losing – especially not this mission.
The best and only thing to do is get to know your competition. So I will either win her confidence or set her up for a fallflat on her face. Maybe both. Then little Ms.Carpenter better start building an escape route out of town.

Kit was in her office doing a little catch up when there was a knock on the door.
“Come on in.”
“Hey, Kit. Got a moment?”
“Sure, Susan. What’s up?”
“Look, I don’t know if there’s anything to this. I don’t even know what the whole story is and I don’t really care. It’s none of my business.”
“What are we talking about here? You seem a little uncomfortable.”
“This womanCandace somethingapproached me the other night”
“What did that *****’ ***** want? Do you know who she is?”
“I heard through the gossip mill, Kit. I take most of that ***** as just that, *****. But she came up to me in a club the other night. Someone must have told her I was working here because I’ve never seen her in here.”
“And she’d be knocked out on her sorry ***** if she did come in.”
“Well, she was just talking about nothing really and then would ask if the group still hangs at here, if Tina comes in regularly. I told her I don’t keep track of people’s times and their goings and comings.”
“Do me a favor, if that ***** comes up to you again asking questions about Bette and Tina, I’d like you to tell me. Because if she does, little miss carpenter is going to hear from this Porter and she best have her first aid kit close by.”
“Sure thing, Kit. Okay, let me get back to work.”
Susan left Kit’s office with a smile on her face. So the story wasn’t exactly true. All that mattered is that Kit’s attention was on Candace. Kit or anyone else isn’t going to know that Susan just happened to place herself next to Candace in the bar. All it took was a few well-placed remarks about Bette and Tina and Candace just started hammering on. As a matter of fact, Candace was pretty hammered herself and it wasn’t long before she actually did ask about Susan’s job and questioning about Tina..and then BINGO, the dumb ***** went right to the point Susan was hoping she would.
“Wanna have some fun? Wanna see Bette Porter squirm?” Candace asked.
“Sure,” Susan said. Then amusedly thought to herself, you just set yourself up for a fall, lady carpenter, and I am going to make sure I’m looking down at you when you hit the ground. And Bette and Tina will be watching. Then everyone will be looking at me a little less suspiciously.

I dont see how this constitutes as Susan having a heart. She’s just trying to get rid of the competition. Through all of this shit I’m left wondering who’s going to get hurt the most. Cause none of these crazies have love in their heart but Bette and Tina do.
This Susan LaFay is one devious lady. But at least maybe she’ll get rid of Candace for our girls. Loved the peacock description, rc!!

I really don’t think that Peggy need to get involved at this point because I believe that Helena will be her own demise, she has too many loose ends. Helena’s problem is that she has added too many people to her plan, which means that are more points for break downs. We have already seen hints of it with Susan. The troops will either turn on each other or the leader because they are all greedy and want to have what they want. I think that Susan’s sweetheart could be more help for B&T than Peggy at this point.
Well now, more problems. Something Susan doesn’t seem to know is that “when you start digging a hole for someone else, you had better dig two, because the “digger” will also need a hole to fall into.” Hopefully Peggy will find out what Helena is doing and put a stop to her before she does any more harm to Bette & Tina.
Oh you’re making this difficult. I am torn between loving what Susan is gonna do to Candace and hating that she may just take over Candace’s role in the end.
Please let her girlfriend come out to LA as a surprise and get her to see what she’s planning on doing isn’t right.
Tina took Bette’s hand, moved it to her now other hot, wet lips and she groaned as Bette’s fingers grazed a waiting swollen clit.

Of course, my darling daughter, will forever be a pothole in the road that Bette and Tina will need to maneuver. Nothing seems to deter her from being an imbedded thorn in Bette’s side.
