It was Thursday. Kennard and Porter settled into a routine that they thought was the like wearing comfortable cottons in summer. It was so right. They were in love with each other, with their jobs and with life. Bette and Tina took turns through out the week to make breakfasttook evening walksit was just right.

Bette loved holding Tinaas Tina told her stories after storiesto fill her upwhile they watched some show. All Bette cared about itthat Tina was happyand she was with Bette. Bette made sure they talked about their day at work in evenings. Bette had send flowers to Tinas work everyday since Monday. Bette loved as Tina was pampering Betteto eat more, sleep more and taking care of her. Tina was loving her everydaytelling hershowing herand Bette felt she was falling for this woman in her lifemore than ever before. And she was all set to surprise Tina with another thing.which would really make things new.

Bette had taken a Friday off and planned to surprise Tina by painting the house in new color with the forced volunteers named Shane, Alice, Dana, Marina, Jenny and Kit. They had decided to do the living room, kitchen and bedroom in the day and then leave the rest for later. However, the real reason was that after Bettes extensive plan for doing the whole thing Alice had thrown a fit and Bette had to negotiate and compromise and literally beg for the bedroom. Bette was to meet Shane and Alice to shop for stufflate in the evening toady. Bette had told Tinashe would run latebecause she was meeting an artist. Tina sounded sad: okay babythinking I hope it doesnt start again. Bette had heard thatshe had read her thoughts. Bette: T, I promise its not the start of a pattern. Just today. And I will be back by ten. Okay?

Bette made sure they had extra time together in the morning. They showered together and went to Planet. Tina leaned into Bette as they walked into their usual table.Bette: Ill place the ordershe kissed Tinas forehead and met Marina on the counter.
Marina: Morning Bette, so all set to paint the town.in some color and she winked.
Bette smiled back as she took the coffee and muffins.Thanks Marina and not only for the coffee.
Alice: So T, why do you look like your dog just died?

Then it occurred to Tina and she said: Guys do you want to come home this evening.
Shane choked on her latte
