Everyone nodded. "When everyone went swimming in their clothes?" Alice remembered.

"Yeah," Bette answered. "Well, we sat here and watched it to what we always thought was the end. We were talking about things that happened in the past and started arguing again, when all of a sudden Dana popped on the TV screen telling us to stop fighting and to listen to her for a minute."

"No way!" Alice said unbelieving.

"So naturally we sat back down and stared at the TV," Tina continued. "Dana told us that we belonged together. She told us that if we were not together and we were watching the tape by accident, shouldn’t we take it as a hint that we were supposed to be together regardless of what happened in the past, present or future. We were meant to be together and for us to put our past behind us and get back together not just for the sake of Karma, but for the sake of the love we share. I looked at Bette and told her I was willing if she was, but she brought up a very good point."

"I don’t want what happened in the past to happen again," Bette stated. "We have five beautiful children to think about now. We don’t want to drag them through what we went through in the past, should that ever happen again. Time and things have changed so much between us that we are willing to start over, but not pick up where we left off."

"We are two single moms with a past," Tina continued. "We met each other by chance yesterday and we are going to start fresh. We are going to take things slow and see how things progress. Who knows, one day you may get a call from us asking you to partake in our nuptials should that day come."

An alarm started going off in the kitchen and Tina jumped up to go check it out.

"So," Kit began, "what happened to your hand and Angie’s neck?"

"This morning one of mommy’s old girlfriends came by and started ranting and raving about mommy being her wife and us being her kids," Angelica answered. "Momma and Mary got into a heated discussion and I jumped in defending my moms and Mary grabbed me by the neck and threw me into the wall, knocking my breath out."
