    Will Jackson be found safe and sound?

    We got some take out and sat in the silent house and ate. Both of us longing for the sounds of Jackson’s laughter, his little feet running, and his screams. Tina’s body started shaking and the tears broke free, I went to her and just held her as she cried.

    "I’m so scared."

    "I know baby, I am too, we’ve got to remain strong for him."

    "I can’t, he’s my heart, the reason I live."

    "I know, I’ll be strong for the both of us then ok? Come on love, lets have a shower."

    We showered and got into bed. I spooned her from behind and I just held her. Her body shook as her sobs controlled her whole body. My heart was breaking, I couldn’t stand that she was so upset, I wanted to cry but I couldn’t. I had to remain strong for her. She turned to me, her eyes red and teary and she dug her head into my chest and cried. I held her for dear life.

    I held her the whole night. She had finally cried herself to sleep and I lay there, praying that Jackson was fine and he’d come home safely. It was the worse night’s sleep I had ever gotten. I was woken by her sobs every once in a while but they didn’t last. She woke with a start and scrambled out of bed, I called to her but she ran out. She came back, the tears rolling down her cheeks, Jackson wasn’t in his bed.

    We were on the phone with the police and Joyce, trying to figure out what our next move was. The officer we’d met the day before had been in and out of the house. Helping us was his main goal and wasn’t going to rest until we had Jackson back. I tried to keep Tina from crying all day and it worked until she decided to call Eric’s phone one last time.

    "Hello," she said surprised, someone actually picked up. The police officers put a trace on the call.

    "Hey momma!"

    "Jackson baby! Are you ok," Tina practically shouted into the phone, I smiled knowing our boy was fine.

    "Yes momma, I’m great!"

    "Where are you? I miss you my sweet angel too."

    1. I absolutely love this story. I’m not sure if I ever commented on it before but either way, I finally have the time ! I’m happy that Eric’s mom at least knew right from wrong and had the sense to call Tina about Jackson. Talaula’s comment though .. I can’t stop lauging

You give me inspiration! Thanks! Great chapter and so glad that it all worked out for everyone , well maybe not Eric so much , but hopefully he’ll get the help he needs.

    4. what a relief that Jackson is ok, but what the neck wad Eric thinking? might be time for him to get some serious help. thanks for the great updates, trifecta of updates are always a blast especially when the stories are so good.

    6. Yayyyy….they found him …that was so nice their family bonding moment….I really do feel sorry for Eric because he was a nice guy but he has lost his mind

    8. Happy that he is safe and sound. It seems as though eric has serious mental problems. What bothers me now is that eric might be ordered to a ninety day stay in a mental treatment center rather than be arrested. Now that his mental state has made him do something that he probably would not have done in his right mind, he might fake getting better and do the same thing again or worse. The police should also charge that woman that he’d been dating because she encouraged him to do this stunt just to get back at Tina. She knew he was mentally fragile over losing Tina and his son and especially her being with Bette and her and Jackson being happy with Bette. If he is adjudged mentally ill and with the kidnapping, he will never be able to practice nursing ever again. Then he will have something else to hate Bette for, taking his career away from him. He will be living in a pit of hell in his mind for a very long time. Glad his mother called Tina to let her know what was happening, good woman. Thanks for posting.
