    The return of Bette and Tina at college

    LOVE AND PRIDE

    Chapter 79

    PREVIOUSLY

    Helena is doing her community service and one afternoon when Bette and Tina come back to the house its clear that Helena is having some sexual fun with a mystery woman. Tina has been confronted by Molly a very sexually aggressive woman who claims that she can get the band some gigs in town. She seems more interested in Tina than in the band. She tells Tina that she should dump Alice and Shane and if she does she will be a star.

    This picks up about three weeks after the last chapter.

    Bette put her pen down and looked around the exam hall. It was ironic that Helena, Tina and her should all her their final papers on the same day in the same exam hall. Alice and Shane had finished the day before and had been out celebrating the night before. But Tina and Helena had their hardest Law exam and Bette out of love and respect for her lover and her sister had stayed in with them doing her own reading of her notes.

     

     

    She looked at the clock at the front of the hall – 11:39 – the exam was due to finish at 12:00. Technically she could leave in the next 11 minutes but she wanted to leave the exam hall at the same time as Helena and Tina. She looked again at the sheets she had just written and smiled – yes – that alone was good enough for the highest mark in Art History. She considered how she had done in her other two subjects. As she had been walking down the campus the evening before she had encountered her Politics tutor who had invited her for a coffee. Over coffee he had done the hard sell asking her if she was interested in changing her major to Politics. Bette had said that Art was something she was passionate about and wanted a career in some aspect of Art so it made sense that she stayed with her current degree.

     

     

    The whole project to renovate the two houses next door to their place had given Bette a lot of

    ideas about finding some way of making career out renovating properties. She had a lot of ideas and knew it was something that would make her very content. Bette looked at the person who made her content. Tina was two desks to Bette’s left – close enough for Bette to watch her in idle moments as she searched for the right words for her essays.

    10. This was my favorite story of yours until SSR came along. Now, I think its a tie. I just love how this Bette and Tina are young, mature, and really work through issues because they are in love. They aren’t BSing, manipulative, or cheating.. and I think that is beautiful considering they are each others first. I love how sweet this story can be because they have eyes only for each other. I can’t wait until their summer of love in Boston. I like their crew of friends but B/T are the total heart of the story. So innocent and beautiful towards one another. I’m glad this one is back.

Love how bette and tina work through their crap. love how tina is assertive and not wimpy and doesn’t back down to bette for everything little. nothing wrong with going toe toe to someone! can’t wait for summer vacation for the gang. helena sure has a huge turn around and her and tina are getting along much better!! wonderful update :)
