Bette: Get your ***** hands off me!!!

Eric: (grabbing Bettes wrist) You tell me what the ***** you are doing with Tina.

Bette: Eric, we arent doing anything, we are just talking. What the ***** is wrong with you? Take your hands off me. NOW!

Eric: Tina broke up with me tonight, and she mentioned your name, what the *****, Bette?

Bette: Eric, look, I am not sure what Tina meant by that, but you should ask her, and take your hands of my wrist.

Eric released Bettes hands and sat on the couch. Visibly upset. They both jumped when they heard a knock on the door. Bette walked over to the door, and saw Tina. She gave Tina a look as if to say what the ***** are you doing? Tina walked over to Eric. She knelt down in front of him.

Tina: Eric, I am so sorry for making you feel this way. It is not Bettes fault. It is my fault. I am the one hurting you. I wish I could take this away, but it is not possible. I have to be able to tell you the truth. No matter what, and I hope you can do the same, you are an amazing man, and any girl would be lucky to have you, I am just not any girl. I am finding out things about me that I need to deal with. I hope you understand. Come on, let me help you up.

Bette is just looking on. The sensitive way that Tina is dealing with Eric just makes her smile. She walks over to Eric, and offers him her hand. Trying to help Tina get him off the floor. Eric looks at Bette, then to Tina, and back to Bette.

Eric; Bette, I am sorry I grabbed you like I did, it is not like me to be so aggressive, I hope you will accept my apology. However, I will not wish you luck, I just hope you treat her well, she is a good woman. Any man, or woman, would be lucky to have her. And, Tina, go slow. Dont go rushing into anything that will hurt you down the line.

Tina: (hugging him) thank you Eric, drive safely.


They watched Eric as he left the building. Tina spoke first, are you okay? Bette still rubbing her wrist slightly, looks over at Tina. yes, I am fine, I was just shocked, I wasnt sure what you had told him.

Tina: let me see your wrist. (she takes Bettes hand in hers and brings her wrist up to her mouth and places a soft kiss on it.) Is that better, Bette?

Bette: no, not yet, I think he grabbed my neck too.

Tina: (laughing) you want me to kiss your neck?

Bette pulled Tina close to her. Wrapped her arms around her. Bette whispered in her ear I want you do to whatever you feel comfortable with and at what pace you feel is right. Tina, I am not in this to get you into my bed, (takes a deep breath) I am in this to get you into my life. Ours is an amazing connection. I look forward to getting to know you and just hang out with you, unless I am jumping the gun.

Tina: just being with you Bette, thats what I want. To spend time with you. To know you. To share everything with you. If you can be patient, then perhaps we will be starting something new.

Bette: (kissing Tinas lip) to something new.
