Chapter 5

The day at Bette and Tina’s soon passed. It was Monday and Alice and Jake went to the airport to pick up will, Jake was very excited to see his father, it had felt like an eternity to him, he missed his dad very much. They stopped off at the planet on their way back to say hi to everyone, and grab some take out for dinner. Shane, Dana, Bette and Tina  and angus were there. They spotted Alice and Jake and called them over.

Bette – hey that must be Will with them

Dana looked up and saw them heading towards the table. She saw Will and Alice with Jake in the middle of them holding their hands, they looked like any other happy normal family.

Tina – he’s cute

Bette – I guess so

Will was incredibly handsome, the typical square jaw, tanned and beautiful smile with perfect white teeth. He looked like he’d just stepped out of  a jeans commercial.

Alice – hi guys, this is Will. Alice then preceded to introduce him to all of her friends, they ordered some drinks and sat down at the table. It was just like old times, all the women talking, laughing and joking, it made Alice happy, but also a little sad, she had missed so them all so much but sometimes during her stay she’d felt like an outsider just getting to look in on a truly great group of people. As time got on Alice became slightly quieter and withdrew herself from the conversation. She found herself talking to Will and Jake, back to the little family she knew.

Alice – we ought to make a move in a minute, you must be tired, I know Jake is, he’s falling asleep.

Will – that’s a good idea, I’m getting tired myself.

Jake began to wriggle and talk in his sleep,

Jake – mama – his arms stretching out for Alice

Alice – ok sweetie, she picks Jake off Will’s lap and cuddles him, he soon falls back to sleep.

Dana looks on in awe once again of Alice, she looks so beautiful.

Will – so Al have you made the appointment yet

Alice – no I haven’t, she replies quite sharply
