When the meeting with the client was over Bette decided to call Sarah and thank her for finishing what she couldn’t. She tried Sarah’s cell phone but got voice mail. Then she called Kit.

“Hello?” Kit answered. “Hi Kit it’s me.” “Hi baby sis, how are you doing?” “I’m doing fine, thanks for asking.” “So what can I help you with?” “Is Sarah there?” “Yes she is why?” “Can I talk to her for a minute? I tried her cell but she ain’t answering.” “Sure hold on Bette.” After a few seconds Sarah answered the phone. “Hello?” “Hi Sarah it’s me.” “Oh hi aunt B. Sorry about my cell phone, my battery went death when I wanted to answer.” “Oh, it’s ok. I just called to say thank you.” “For what?”  Sarah asked. “For finishing my letter.” “Oh yeah, I’m sorry about that, it’s just I saw that your computer was still on and well, I’m sorry.” “What, no don’t be! You saved my life girl, please don’t apologise for that!” “So it was ok?” Sarah asked cautiously. “It was more than ok, it was fantastic.” Sarah blushed. “Well thanks, I’m glad I could have been of help.” Bette laughed. “Well I’ll let you get back to work, or Kit is going to be pissed at me!” Sarah laughed at that statement. “Ok, see you later aunt B.” “Yeah, see you later.”

Lunchtime at the planet:

Bette and Tina walked in, hand in hand. Angelica was waddling in front of them. Shane picked her up and put her in her lap. Sarah served lunch and sat down and ate with them. As they were just finished Alice walked in. She walked up to the table and smiled at everyone. Sarah just ignored her. “Do you guys mind if I join you?” Alice asked. She had a major hang over and needed a cup of coffee. Everyone nodded their head no, except for Sarah, she said, “Actually I do mind you joining us!” They all looked at her. “No Al, she’s kidding, sit down.” Alice looked at Sarah and knew she wasn’t kidding, but she sat down like Tina had told her to do. “I would like a coffee, and make it a strong one.” Alice said as she turned smiling at Sarah. Sarah glared at her before replying; “You can get your coffee at the counter like everybody else. I’m on my lunch break.” She got up and put her chair away. “Besides I have a coffee date right now, so if you’ll excuse me.”

They all looked at Sarah then at Alice.
