Previously: 

“There’s no second guessing this one, you’re having a boy Alice.”

“I can see that.”

“You’re getting your baby boy Al.”

“Congratulations to the both of you.”

“Thank you.”

“Thanks.”

“We are finished here; you can leave when ever you are ready.”

Alice wiped the gel off of her stomach and they headed out to the desk. They paid for the visit and headed for the car.

“Alice this is so exciting you’re having a boy.”

“I know tell me about it I’ll have a vagina and a penis!”

Dana went and got the car, Alice got in still laughing at her joke.

“Seriously Al who should we call and tell first?”

“I don’t know maybe Shane.”

“Don’t you want to call your mom and let her be the first to know?”

“Dana think about what you just said.”

“Is she really that pissed about the whole thing?”

“You have now idea. I was actually living with her when I found out I was pregnant she gave me two days to pack up all my stuff and get out.”

“Holy crap I thought you guys were closer than that.”

“Well we were for a time, but then she fell into old habits and well you know how it goes. She always thought that I could go better I guess.”

“I still don’t know how she can hate her own grandchild?”

“Me either.”

“And I though my mom was hard to handle.”

“Your mother is just plain nasty to the core.”

“I know and believe me hate the way she talks to you its so uncalled for well I’ve had enough of her. Babe you may not be good enough for her but you are certainly good enough for me and that is all that counts.”

“I guess my mom was right?”

“What?”

“I could do better than George and I did the second I knocked on your door.”

“Damn straight.”

“Hey lets go to the Planet I’m sure everyone is there and we can then all at once.”

They arrived at the Planet and went into their usual table, and just as Alice had said everyone was there. They walked up to the table holding hands with shit eating grins on their faces, but they really didn’t care. Tina was the first to speak.
