Life with Mom and Tina Ch 94

    Previously:

"Well that is something that you and I have in common little sister, but come on. We will get through it together." Shannon said and opened the door.

Jess walked in first and the room went silent.

"Where the hell have you two been? We have been trying to get in touch with you for a week." Bette scolded.

"We’ve been busy." Shannon said. Jess sat down next to Tina.

"What do you mean you’ve been busy?" Tina asked calmly.

"I don’t know about her but I have been busy avoiding the two of you." Jess said.

"I am going leave you all to talk Girls I want you in my office tomorrow at 4." Allison said.

"Yes ma’am" they said. Allison left.

"Why have you have been avoiding us?" Tina asked.

Jess took off her sunglasses to reveal her still bruised eye.

"Oh my God honey what happened to you?" Tina asked.

"I happened to her." Shannon said. Both Bette and Tina looked at Shannon. "I had a little too much to drink last weekend and when Jess became the center of attention yet again I lost it, but we are working on our issues with each other." Shannon said.

"And what issues do you two have?" Bette asked. Tina was still fussing over Jess’s face.

"Old ones that were never dealt with." Jess said.

    "For starters Jealousy." Shannon said.

"Jess we have been through this with you. You know we don’t love you or you Shannon any less because we have 3 other kids." Tina said.

"And we know that. This more about us being too competitive with each other about everything." Shannon said. Jess was letting Shannon do most of the talking.

"The issue isn’t that we want either of you to ourselves. The issue that we always compared to one another. When Jess does something good. You guys say you should be more like Jess."

"It works both ways too. You guys say the same things to me." Jess said.

"Why haven’t you brought this up before?" Tina asked. Jess shrugged her shoulders.

"I don’t know about Jess, but I was afraid that you guys would say stop complaining and deal with it." Shannon said.

    1. Hey Charmed, What a wonderful way to bring the family back together. I can understand the petty envy that btoh Shannon and Jess felt but was happy that they could finally just talk about it and clear the air for once and for all. Nice to see Bette and Tina take the necessary step back and allow their daughters to sort things out. Hopefully the National tour will be a time to heal and rejoice. Bring it on. Thank you for this marvellous tale. Your Loyal (if lurking) Fan.

    2. I am glad that Shannon and Jess are trying to work out their differences. I wonder if Bette will catch on that it is her they are fighting over. Of course Tina is right up there with Bette but Bette being the birth mother and all. Has Bette ever looked at Shannon a little different because of the circumstances of her birth? Thanks for the post.

    3. Great chapter!! Jess is like a modern-day wonder woman. So, I’m not the brightest star when it comes to softball, so do jess and shannon still play for UCLA too?

    4. Well thank Bob they got through that. Perhaps they will all be drama-free until the boys get older and start fighting with each other. =p

    5. They are like the modern day Cleavers…..lezzie style. It’s nice to see them all settle their differences. Jess is a bit sensitive and moody which is cool but she doesn’t back down when she thinks she is right which makes for an interesting story with drama. I love this story.
