LIfe with Mom and Tina Ch 85

    Previously:

Jess leaned on her elbow and brushed the hair out of Laurie’s face. She watched Laurie come down off of her high. Laurie smiled at her.

    "I love you." She said.

Jess looked at the beautiful brunette laying beside her. She wasn’t quite sure what to say. Jess tensed up a little and pulled away from Laurie. She sat on the edge of the bed for a moment before pulling on her shorts and tank.

"Jess what is the matter?" Laurie asked.

"There is nothing wrong baby." Jess said. She leaned over and kissed Laurie.

"Then where are you going?" She asked.

"Just downstairs." Jess said. Jess walked out of the room. Laurie laid back in the bed trying to figure out what happened.

Jess went down into the kitchen and put the kettle on the stove. She looked out onto the ocean. She was in deep thought.

What should I do? Do I love her? I think so. Or is it just sex? Which is out of this world. Can I possibly have found my soul mate this young. I don’t want to tell her something that isn’t true. I don’t want to hurt her. I want to be with her all the time. I can’t stand it when we are apart. What am supposed to do?

The pot whistled. Jess walked in to see Laurie standing in the kitchen. Laurie handed Jess a cup of tea.

    "What’s up?" She asked.

"Nothing I was just thinking." Jess said. She took a sip of Tea.

"A penny for your thoughts." Laurie said. Jess sat on the counter.

"Can I ask you a question?" Jess asked.

"You just did." Laurie teased. Jess made a face. "Go ahead babe I’m sorry."

"Did you mean it?" Jess asked.

"I meant it five minutes ago. I mean it now, and I am going to mean it forever." Laurie said.

"Forever is a very long time." Jess said.

"It may be, but I want to spend it all with you." Laurie said moving in between Jess’s legs. "What do you think about that?"

    "I don’t know." Jess said.

"I know that you may not be ready to make that kind of commitment to me but I love you and I am willing to wait. I know that you are going through a lot right now. I am going to be there for you. No matter what. I promise." Laurie said.

    1. Lets fix this problen between Tina and jesse. they have needed each other for yrs. They need to learn to love and repect each other as friends then as daughter and Mom/ thanks

    2. This is a good start and yes they do love each other very much. They both were hurting so much when Bette was gone and did not understand how to help each other. Everyone needs to be shown love especially in a crisis as when Bette disappeared. They will be on the road to self-discovery and learn a way to show their love for each other. Bette knew what she was doing by making them rough it and re-discover each other. Great chapter.
