“We need to talk about this.” Laurie said.

“What about this do you want to talk about?” Jess asked grabbing a pair of blue jeans and a red tank out of her closet.

“Where this leaves us.” She said.

“You want to talk about you and me and what we are going to do and not going to do. What we both want. What we are going to tell people or if we are going to tell people. Is that right?” Jess asked being somewhat of a smart ass.

“Yes.” Laurie said.

“Okay we will but let’s get ready first.” Jess said standing in the doorway.

“Promise?” Laurie asked.

“I promise.” Jess said and disappeared down the stairs.

Meanwhile….

“Did Jess say why she had the door locked?” Bette asked.

“Mommy Ian stole my game.” Teddy screamed from the back seat.

“Awww, Mama Teddy hit me.” Ian cried.

“Okay that’s it hand me both of the Gameboys right now.” Bette said turning in her seat.

“See what you did.” Ian said angrily and handed his to Bette.

“You started it.” Teddy said handing his to Bette.

“That’s enough. No more talking until we get to the airport.” Bette said she turned around and put the Gameboys in the center console.

“No she didn’t say, but she was probably just trying to keep the boys out of her room. She deserves her privacy.” Tina said. She disagreed with Bette about not locking doors, but she understood why Bette wanted them to remain unlocked.

“I know she does, but you know how I feel.” Bette said.

“I do, but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with you.” Tina said.

“No it doesn’t.” Bette said.

“Has she told you why she and Justin broke up?” Tina asked.

“She said it was because he wanted to and she didn’t but I think there is another reason.” Bette said.

“Why do you think that?” Tina asked.

“Because when I was talking with Nay Nay yesterday she accidentally hinted that their was another reason.” She said.

“What did she say?” Tina asked.

“started to say something about it and then she refused to finish her statement.” Bette said.

“Well what was the first part of it?” Tina asked.

“That she didn’t think that was the reason because she knew Jess. And then she stopped.” Bette said.

“Oh” Tina said.

“What do you know something?” Bette asked.

“No I was just say oh.” Tina argued and pulled into a parking space.

“Come on T. If you know something about it you have to tell me.” Bette stated.

“No Bette I don’t.” Tina said and got out the car and opened the door. Bette opened the other door and unbuckled Angelica.

“Yeah T you do.” Bette said.

“Bette I don’t know anything, and if Jess had to me something in confidence I still wouldn’t tell you and Shannon shouldn’t tell you either. So don’t go pressuring either on of them.” Tina said helping Teddy down out of the car.

“Mommy what are you talking about?” Teddy asked.

“We are talking about how when someone tells you a secret you should never tell it.” Tina said.

“Unless it is something that cause someone else to get hurt.” Bette added.

“They are talking about when Sissy told Nay Nay about having” he paused. “I forgot the word but you remember.” Ian said to Teddy. Bette looked horrified at Tina.

“What were they talking about honey.” Bette asked.

“Bette.” Tina said.

“I don’t know what it was. I forgot.” He said.

“Was it Sex?” Bette asked.

“Yeah that was it. What is that?” He asked.

“Great Bette. Ian we will tell you about it later Okay.” Tina said.

“Okay.” He answered. She took him by the hand and led he and Teddy into the airport. Bette stood still she couldn’t believe what she just heard.

“Mommy are you coming?” Teddy called. His voice snapped her back into reality.
