Life with Mom and Tina Ch 155

    Previously:

Bette and Tina looked at each other. Tina took a deep breathe and explained everything about Cat’s new job and the possibilities it could entail.

"Well that’s a good thing right. I mean why don’t you think you can function without Jess?" Josie asked.

"It’s hard to explain." Bette said.

    "Try." Josie said.

"Jess has always had this special bond with both the boys and Angelica." Bette said.

"Stronger with Angelica. I knew from before she was born that they were going to be close……………………………..

Tina sat on her bed about 7 months pregnant. She was reading scripts. The baby monitor was on the bedside table but the snoring was coming from upstairs where Alice was snoring. Alice was there to help Tina with the Boys while Bette was in New York for the week. She looked at the clock. 11:45.

Jess tip toed in the front door. She dropped her gym bag by the laundry machine. She stopped in the hallway when she saw a light coming from her Mama’s room. She sighed she knew there was going to be a discussion, they didn’t fight anymore or at least they didn’t yell at her anymore. Jess figured it was because the only time they had to that the boys were sleeping and they didn’t want to wake them. She headed past the door walking quickly.

"I don’t think so. Come here please." Tina said. Jess did an about face and stood in the doorway.

    "Yes Ma’am." Jess said.

"You’re 45 minutes late." Tina said.

"Sorry. I won’t do it again." Jess said.

    "Is everything okay?" Tina asked.

"Yeah." Jess said giving her the answer she always gave.

"Come sit with me please." Tina said patting the bed next to her.

"Mama I’m tired and I have a early practice tomorrow." Jess said.

"No you don’t. Lilly called and canceled it. She has a meeting. Now come sit." Tina said. Jess could tell by her facial expressions that Tina meant business.

Jess crawled up on the bed beside Tina and settled in for a long talking to.

"So what have you been up to lately? You haven’t been home a lot." Tina asked.

    1. Maybe that couch was not comfortable after all. Jess was always the one to feel left out after each child came into the family. She became the one that everybody went to when in pain or hurting for other reasons. She is a special young woman just like her moms.

    2. I have followed this story from the beginning and have loved all that you have written. Laughter mostly, but deep emotions have been felt with each chapter. You have embraced this family and have so wonderfully portrayed so many life experiences in this one story. I read Seahurst’s “If it is meant to be” story and anticipted every chapter as I do yours today. It is often said, but I truly mean this, as long as you write, I’ll read!!! You as well as the other writers have kept these characters alive in so many ways and we are so grateful for quality fan fiction to keep us going in between seasons.
