Previously:

Cat watched from a distance. She was happy that Jess and Anne were getting along and talking. It meant that Jess was one step away from getting control of her life back. Cat smiled when she saw Jess really laugh for the first time in weeks. She turned and walked away choosing to let them spend some time alone together.

"Did you call Jess?" Tina asked.

"She didn’t answer." Bette said she was reading papers.

"I’ll try Cat." Tina said picking up the phone off of the bedside table.

Tina tried Cat’s phone but there was no answer. She left a message.

"I wonder where they are." Tina said.

"With those two and their almost endless resources there is no telling." Bette said. She wasn’t really concerned because she as long as they were together Cat and Jess would be okay.

"Mom called earlier." Tina said.

"yeah how are they. Are they enjoying that cruise they went on." Bette said.

"They are. They wanted to make sure that we were still coming for thanksgiving and wanted to let me know that they were coming for visit next week." Tina said quickly. Bette didn’t say anything at first, but then she realized what Tina just said.

"Their what?" Bette said.

"She and dad are flying in on Wednesday. She said something about wanting to see the kids on Halloween, but I think they really want to talk about something else." Tina said.

"Like what?" Bette said.

"I have no idea. When I asked she said I would have to wait." Tina said.

"I hope it’s good." Bette said. Ian appeared in their doorway.

"Hey baby what’s the matter?" Tina said.

"I had a bad dream." He said walking towards her.

"Uh oh." She said.

"Can I sleep here?" He asked. Tina looked at Bette.

"Sure baby." Tina said. He climbed in the bed in between them.

It wasn’t long before Teddy joined his brother in the bed with their moms.

The rest of the week went very well. Jess got the vacation she needed and got to talk with Anne. Anne left the day before Jess and Cat.
