    Lunch at the Planet and Family Night.

    "Okay kiddo." Shane said and they parted. Jess walked down the driveway. Tina’s car was in the driveway.

    "Mama." Jess called walking in the back door.

    "Jess?" Tina said coming down the hallway.

    "Is everything okay?" Jess asked.

    "Yes why?" Tina said.

    "You’re home in the middle of the day." Jess said.

    "I took the rest of the week off. What are you doing here?" Tina asked.

    "I am going to the shed to do some work." Jess said.

    "Oh okay. You are staying for dinner aren’t you." Tina said.

    "Yes and I know she’s coming." Jess said heading upstairs.

    "Are you okay with that?" Tina asked.

    "The way I figure it. I don’t have much of a choice. I am going to have to around her no matter what. Well that is until the end of the semester." Jess said. Tina walked up and hugged her.

    "I am so proud of you." She said.

    "Why? I am just facing the facts here." Jess said.

    "And you are being so grown up about it." Tina said.

    "Well I guess you did a good job then. Huh Mama." Jess said and went upstairs.

    Tina smiled and almost cried but then went back to what she was doing.

    Jess changed into her overalls that already had paint on them and a tight white tank. She stopped briefly in the kitchen where Tina was starting to gather stuff for dinner. Jess pulled her I-pod from her bag.

    "Not to loud. You know what the neighbors said last time you got going in there." Tina said.

    "I won’t." Jess as she grabbed a handful of baby carrots and went out the door.

    Tina smiled when she heard the stereo come on as loud as Jess could get it with out blowing the speakers.

     

    A Couple Hours Later…..

    Bette walked in the house. Tina was in the kitchen putting the chicken in the oven. Bette walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around Tina.

    "Smells good." Bette said.

    "Thanks it will be ready in about an hour." Tina said.

    "I wasn’t talking about dinner." Bette said.

    5. …like I was saying before I hit a button…great chapter…I had to play catchup so I didn’t comment on the other chapters. So Jess has been doing all of this painting and noone has seen them but Shannon? Wow…I would have thought Bette would have tried to get in there and take a look. I bet she is as talented as her dad. When will her pictures be revealed? Please post soon.

    6. We all know that both Bette and Andy painted. Is Jesse better that they were. Tina is so open mined about Anne. Jesse will need her by her side tonight. thanks

    7. This puts not only Jess in the corner but also Tina. Exactly how is Tina suppose to feel when this important woman from Bette’s past shows up and wants to pick up where they left off at? I hope that Bette will put Tina at ease instead of bringing more pain to her.
