    Author Notes:

    As she got closer to the lighted gallery she saw that it was rose petals.

    “Yes I will Marry you.” She sniffled.

    Bette took the diamond and slipped on Tina’s finger, and stood. Tina put her hands in Bette’s hair and kissed her. After passionately kissing for 30 min, they broke their embrace.

    “Do you like it?” Bette asked.

    “I love it. It is the one that I pointed out that I liked when I was in the Jewelry store getting my necklace fixed a month ago. How did you know?” Tina said admiring her ring.

    “I had I spy.” Bette said smiling.

    “I should have know. Jess made me let her try it on that day. She is so sneaky.” Tina said looking at the picture of her and Jess in the pool.

    “I glad her practiced was rained out that day other wise I wouldn’t have picked the right one.” Bette said. “She doesn’t know why I bought it just that I did. I knew she couldn’t keep that big of secret.”

    “I would have loved anyone that you picked out.” Tina said. She looked around the room. “How did you get all this done?”

    “I know a guy.” Bette said kissing Tina. “We better eat before it gets cold.” Bette pulled out Tina’s chair, and lifted the cover off of Tina’s plate. It was take out from the restaurant where they had their first date.

    “I didn’t try to cook because we both know how that would have turned out.” Bette said pouring the champagne. Tina laughed and nodded with approval. Even with all her efforts over the past year Bette still couldn’t cook. She final gave up after Jess refused to eat last week when Bette had tried to cook a simple spaghetti. They ended up at the planet.

    Through out the evening Mimi, Ivy, and Shane had joined Alice and Dana at the house. They were all out by the pool when Bette and Tina got home. It was late Bette hoped that Jess would be fast asleep and she would get some more alone time with Tina.

    “Hey guys” Alice said hurrying up to them. Tina held up her hand.

    “Wow, look at that rock!” Alice said. She help Tina’s hand up to the light so she could get a better look. Mimi, Dana and Shane came quickly to get a close look.

    “Congratulations.” Ivy said.

    “What for?” Jess said after jumping into Tina’s arms. Tina looked at Bette.

    “Well honey Tina and are going to get married.” Bette said calmly hoping that Jess wouldn’t get upset with another change. She had been doing well. There was a silent pause while everyone waited for her reaction.

    “Cool. Does that mean that Tina is going to be my mom too?” Jess asked.

    “Only if you want me to be.” Tina said touching Jess’s nose.

    3. yeah let them get married and have a child together, jess has been so suportive of bette and tina’s relationship i wonder how she will reactif they want more kids.

    4. Cool. It’s great how Jess is so at ease with B & T’s relationship. Jess knows she has people who love her and that’s what is important. It’s great how Jess asked if Tina was going to be her mom and Tina said if she want her to be. This is going to be a good change for Bette, Tina, and Jess…a happy family.

    12. Excellent chapter. So happy that Jess is so not bothered by their relationship and that she feels loved or knows that she is loved by Tina as well as her mother. You have written this story so beautifully with no complications. It shows how great the experience can be.
