Previously:
"Are you okay?" Cat asked.
"Yeah why?" Jess asked.
"You haven’t seen the news have you?"
"No but I saw the article in the newspaper. Why what’s on the news?" Jess asked sitting up in the bed looking for the remote.
Jess flipped on the screen. It showed a video of Jess and Cat kissing out side of a coffee house the night before.
"Oh my god." Jess said. She turned the volume up on the TV.
"Does the American Star have the upper hand on her teammates. Is that why she always plays? Is she the good role model she claims to be? Answer’s to these questions and more after this." The Voice on the TV said.
"Oh God Oh God." Jess said.
"Jess calm down it can’t be that bad." Tina said.
"Yes it is." Jess said.
"Jess no its not. Coach Ally and Shelly knew that the two of you were dating." Shannon said.
"Not the sponsors." Jess said.
"Jess. Jess." Cat called on the phone.
"Yeah I’m here." Jess said.
"Where are you?" Cat asked.
"In my parents room. Why?" Jess asked.
"Just stay there we are on our way up." Cat said and hung up.
"I am so screwed." Jess said and fell back on the bed.
The report came back on just as Cat, Allison, Shelly and the team publicists, Marty, knocked on the door.
Jess was intently watching the report that was questioning her life and everything in it. Cat sat down on the bed next to her and took the remote from her turning the tv off.
"What are you doing I wanted to see that." Jess said.
"You don’t need to see that." Cat said.
"She’s right Jess." Bette said.
"What are we going to do?" Tina asked.
"Nothing for right now." Marty said.
"How can I do nothing?" Jess asked.
"We are going to do something but not here. We are going to deal with this when we get home." Marty said.
"You are going to play today, just like planned." Allison said.
"I have spoken with all of our sponsors and they are all calm at the moment. They still want both of you to be part of the team." Marty said.

wow Bette is really angry! i wonder what she’ll do. Humm will Jess be able to play and concentrate on the game with the media going mad at her ?. Loving the story..post soon!.
Another great chapter! Bette has the rigth to be upset but she need to listen Tina it was difficult time for all the family whe she was miss. I hope the team won’t freak ou on Jess. Good thing that Shanoon is there to support Jess they love so much each other.

Well, the sh!t hit the fan alright. I didn’t see that coming between B&T.
Well didn’t see that coming. Bette needs to understand that Tina could barely function when she thought the love of her life had died and she was overwhelmed at the thought of taking care of all the kids alone. Jess did act out and we know how difficult Jess can be when she is acting out, she needs to realize that Tina did the best she could plus the fact that Jess was practically an adult…people handle crisis differently. I am sure this mini scandal when fade. This is good please post soon.
Okay, you said that they would be fine in the end, so I am placing all my trust into your hands. Bette and Tina do need to stay togehter. It is their love that brought this family together. Maybe this is the time for some healing between Shannon and Jess.
