Graduation Day…
It was a quarter to seven. Tina was running forty`five minutes late. She ran to the mirror in the hallway and looked herself over one last time. She smiled at how beautiful she was, despite the minor temporary set back the day before. When, her hair fell out. Apparently, she didn’t know that, when you bleach your hair, you should try to refrain from using as much heat as possible. And, perming it is definitely out of the question.
Two days before…
Tina notices her hair falling out as she rinsed it under the pipe. She began to get nervous but she was calm. She went into the bathroom and ran the comb through her hair. Pieces and pieces of blond strands fell from her fingertips with the friction of her thumb and index finger. "Fuck…" Tina whispers under her breathe. "I have to call Bette." Tina says, in the sound of a whisper.
Tina stepped closer to the mirror and looked her hair over. She was disappointed at the results. She wet wraps it and decides she should call, Bette. Bette was good with hair, cooking, cleaning, children, and being a good provider. She was a natural. Tina felt silly for what she was about to confess, but, she needed to get down to the bottom of what just happened. For a second, she thought, she had cancer. The feeling was scary. Especially, since she used to smoke, a year ago.
She grabs the towel and drapes it over her shoulder. Quickly, she made her way past her mother, who was sitting in the living room chair. She closed her door and walked over to her bed. She plops down, sadness kicking in, and thinks about how, her hair is going to look in a couple of days. She retrieved her phone and opens the contacts tab. She scrolls through the b’s and finds Bette’s name.
Bette’s employment…
Bette had just finished Armani Exchange. She was setting her equipment in the trunk when her cell phone rang. She stops in her tracks and pauses. She wonders if ray is calling her. He called her earlier and she told him she would call him later. Bette continues packing the truck and waits patiently for her co-workers to join her outside.

Oh my, I just wish they would talk to each other and cut thru the bull. They are both right, they need to trust each other and the love they feel for each other. Great update. Thanks for posting.
This is different and I’m liking it a lot. On to the next post. Thank you vakkav :)
