“I love you.” Bette said softly, but firmly.
“Do you, really?”
“I wouldn’t lie to you.” Helena pulled Bette closer to her. Fear and anxiety were present but didn’t overshadow the mutual appreciation that had built itself in a manner of days. There was a knock at the door.
“Door’s open.” Helena called.
A blonde dressed in all black with a pair of dark sunglasses and a large backpack walked through the door.
“Helena, I found something interesting…oh, hello. I’m Alice.” She took off her glasses and stuck out her hand to shake Bette’s.
“Bette Porter.” She said, smiling at the quirky blonde.
“I know. Helena talks about you, a lot. I mean, you can’t get the girl to shut up when it comes to you.”
“Oh, really?” Bette smiled brightly at Helena, which caused Helena to blush entirely too brightly. Alice grinned at her best friend, knowing that Bette had cracked her.
“So, Alice…” Helena said trying to avoid the awkwardness, “What did you find?” Alice looked at Bette knowing that she shouldn’t be there while they talked about her findings. Bette noticed.
“Um…I’m going to go take a shower.”
“You can borrow some of my clothes. You know where to find them?”
“I think I can figure it out.” Bette kissed Helena’s cheek and escaped into the back of the house.
“Nice, Helena.” Alice said, watching Bette until she was out of view.
“Fuck off. Now, tell me what you found out.” Helena motioned to the couch and the two women sat down. Helena made sure the blinds were closed, as the sun was making its way around.
“When you become a vampire, your heart no longer is needed for circulation or anything, but it becomes like a radar.”
“A radar?
“Yeah, and when it beats, it means you’ve found something intricate to your life. It can only happen in two circumstances.”
“And I fall in one of those, right?”
“Yep. It happens immediately after being bit by a werewolf. Something about being a hybrid and some other mumbo jumbo. And it happens when you meet your life match. Miss Thang in the next room is your soul mate.”

So it’s kick Bette out, decapitate her, or turn her. If the info in Alice’s black book is correct, I’d say Helena’s choice is a no brainer (especially if Bette’s determined to turned, and by some other vampire if not Helena). So on to the turning?
To turn or not to turn, that is the question. This is sure to cause a further rift amongst the readers. Helena needs to see beyond the besotment to ponder what she wants for eternity, Bette needs to, too. Say ashtuck, I was wondering how someone lacking circulatoin manages to blush. Does Alice have the answer to that one in her book. And where did she get that book, e-bay?

I rather have Helena to turn Bette, not decapitate her or kick her out! So yeah, lol Great chapter and I can’t wait for the last chapter!!!!
Ash this was a great chapter and loved how AL was giving Helena how Bette was her Life Match and to take it,,let’s see if she does,
You sure are doggin’ Tina out! Strangely,in this fic I dont mind much, but don’t make a habit of it. …I don’t think Bette would look so good without her head. Maybe Alice should find another book on Ebay. Thanks!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! i won’t have it!! Helena shall not turn Bette or decapitate her either!! that was probably an outdated version of the book, perhaps there is a newer edition, or maybe, “Vampire love rules for dummies?” Alice I am sure found the book not on ebay but at Amazon.com where it is cheaper!

well, I’m rather split up there… if Helena does not turn Bette, she would probably turn to someone else to turn her (if I may say so…) but, if she turns her, will their hearts still beat when they make love : it seems that book was about vampire loving a mortal, what about love between vampires ? or even love between a vampire and a werewolf (if that can happen… we’ll have to ask Helebette about that LOL), then would her heart begin to beat, and not stop since it’s a werewolf ?? anyway, please keep posting as this story is really enjoyable :-)

Wow, these choices pretty much suck for Helena. keeo having great sex and chop her head off, turn her and potentially fall out of love and be stuck together for eternity or have someone else turn her and still be stuck in the same bad situation. I don’t know what Helena should do??? guess I’ll have to wait for your next post to find. Great story by the way, keep up the good work :).
