    Angelica Kenter narrates – Mark searches for Sabrina, then goes off on Jenny – Tina makes Bette an offer she can’t refuse – Carmen wants to come out – Shane tells Alice not to do it – Helena is brought down a peg by Peggy, or course… and more —

     

                “She’s adorable….  I never thought I’d be so in love…”  Bette said as she stepped into the kitchen, moving to the stove and saying, “You hungry?” 

     

                “No babe.  Um…”  Tina began, lifting the checkbook up and Bette saw what she was talking about.  “We need to talk.”

     

                “The euphoria is over,” said Bette dramatically and Tina looked at her oddly.  This wasn’t the same Bette that she’d fallen in love with.  This Bette was cracking jokes, and she certainly wasn’t worried about money.  It was as if a switch had been flipped inside of Bette allowing her to be more carefree, letting go of the control button that she had always held so dear.  She was flying high on being a mother.  Tina bit her lip, staring at the phone for a moment, thinking about the phone call she wanted to make.

     

                “Funny.  We do have a new born to look after.  We’ve put this off for a week and we really should sit down…”

     

                “I got my settlement check the other day.  It’s in the savings account, well the remainder of it.  The Saab is paid for until the first of the year.  The house is paid for until the last of December.  We have a cushion Tina, a very nice cushion I might add.  I can find a job.  Just not as lucrative as this one was,” Bette said softly, biting her lip and sitting down at the table. “Or I can find a better job,” said Bette, reached out for Tina’s hand and Tina sighed as Bette moved to kneel on the floor, pulling her close.  Tina rubbed her luscious hair as Bette put her head in her lap.

     

                “Baby I’ll take care of you and A.J.  I’ve never had a better incentive to find a job where I can be home at a decent hour, where I can cook breakfast on the weekends.  I will always take care of you, baby,” Bette promised.  Tina captured her lips, letting her lips caress Bette’s for a long time, pulling away and delving into the conversation she’d been having in her head for the last few hours.

     

                “How about….  I take care of you?”  Tina asked timidly, Bette’s eyes grew worried, her jaw clamping down for one quick moment.  Working for, what Bette called in her mind, the Justice League Of Los Angeles, wasn’t going to keep them in the life style that they were accustomed too.  An odd vision of Tina in tights and a cape invaded Bette’s mind.  Tina walking into The Planet, hands on her hips, striking a pose with a large L for Lesbian on her chest, defender of gay and lesbian rights…

    1. well if helena isn’t a viper or dragon then she is the most misunderstood big kid ever!! she planning on something that will only get herself into more trouble… jenny needs some major help here! alice/dana/lara 3 way? OMG this is gonna back fire on alice. shane is right don’t do it! SAHM= bette while tina goes back to work.. maybe bette cna work part time. tina working will be good for them as long as tina doesn’t all high and mighty… love angie’s narration and comments!! :)

    2. Damn woman! You have my emotions all over the place here. OMG, the whole Tina in tights with a cape and the letter “L” on her chest in the planet was TOO MUCH!!! ROFLMAOOOOOO!!!!!!! You done good girl. I just wish you had time to write more. I read this earlier today, and told Ness to remind me to come in and comment. As for Guitar Hero III….* shaking head * I think you may get a run for your money with that one. Her fingers move extremely fast. * wink * As for the bet you lost, YAY!!!!! a B&T chappy from you!     3. HEYA JR!!! Well I thought I would shock the life out of you and leave you a comment. HEHEEHEE Ok, so I went and played Guitar Hero for a while earlier. My hands hurt a little, but I am sure I will get used to it. Mine came with rules too… No use if I have homework, so I have to make sure I have everything done first before I play. LOL As for the bet, I will sit and wait patiently for that. Now…. I am loving this story. I am so glad that Tina is thinking of looking after Bette and Angie. It’s a nice change from the typical Tina being home storyline. Oh, and I love that Peggy gave half of the company to B&T. LOL

    4. Got sun burned yesterday and today. Almost got the new roof on. This is something new. The fire rate is the highest they make. Thanks goodness the house is old and real carpenter build it in 46 so the old thing was in square. Peggy gets to me sometime and so does Helena, She could do a lot ,trouble in Bette and Tinas life if she is after Tina. Alice has gone crazy, a threesome. I know you can play he&& with the people in your stories. Expect the unexpected from you. thanks for my Sunday fix bvh

    5. Well Jaded, you’re anything but jaded if you ask me! Anyone who could see the good side of Helena in S2 is not jaded. Anyone with a sense of humour like you have is not jaded (I now see Tina looking like Wonder Woman)! LMAO.

    6. Spring cleaning yesterday and I did not get on. Alice plan might backfire on her. Don’t do it Dana may fall for lara again. Bette as a say at home I love the ideaa. Mark needs to call Marina up and tell her About Jenny. Angie was a laugh about the Soprano’s bit. Good job

    7. Read the whole thing just now. Angel’s voice is great, playful and endearing. I don’t care what she says, I still think this Helena is kind of evil. Interested to see what’s become of the doctor and what the back story of her running away is, love Bette as the stay at home mom, it’s cute. The Dana/Al/Lara thing is gonna go badly, but Lara seems less than thrilled to get into it, doesn’t she? Why can’t best friends (Al/Dana) actually talk to each other? Drives me nuts. That’s the way the characters are written, though, isn’t it? Well done. Thanks.

    8. Ah JR, great chapter as usual. I read this chapter yesterday, but couldn’t get the comment box to pop up. See how good I am now at following the rules. I came back today to tell you how much I enjoyed this chapter! Ok, give us a little more Sabrina. Hello tJR… so yeah I realized I forgot to make comment and well Rulez are rulez… so here I am… I love all the allusions to different comic titles throughout this chapter… or maybe I’m reading to far into it but its been fun… and Tina taking care of Bette is interesting and can lead to some really cool designs in the fabric of their relationship… MOB… Threeways… disenherited sisters… long lost sisters… secret partner for Helena… what else can we expect… well from your crazy brilliant mind… nothing is impossible… Hugs, JC
