Bette woke up with a huge grin on her face, stretching her hands above her head while inhaling a big gulp of fresh air, Today is going to be a great day. Thought Bette happily and then started to giggle. Rolling off her hotel bed, she headed into the washroom to prepare herself for the day.

Standing in the management office of a shopping complex, Bette was trembling a little while eagerly waiting Tina to arrive. It was about time for them to make an appearance to the crowd and yet Tina had showed up. The publicists began to panic around Bette and they were trying to call Tina, but nobody answered the phone. Finally when they contacted Tinas driver, he informed them that Tina was sick and would not be able to make it to the publicity. Bette felt her stomach dropped and worries got the best of her.

I need to go see Tina. Stated Bette heading towards the door. The publicists stopped her and told her that she has to be their only hope of representative to make her appearance at the publicity. Bette sighed in defeat and agreed with the publicists although that was not what she really wanted to do at that moment.

Bettes mind was with Tina all the time during the publicity. When it finally ended, Bette rushed out and headed straight to Tinas apartment.

Pressing on the doorbell and trying to wait patiently, Bettes worries grew as Tina had not answered the door after the third time she pressed on the bell. She knocked on the door, Tina? Its me, Bette Are you in there? asked Bette when she thought Tina probably was not there or worst stillfainted. She pulled out her cell phone and hit on the speed dial, before the phone is connected, the door opened slowly Beeettteee a weak voice came out. Shutting her phone and peaking into the apartment, Bette saw a vulnerable Tina hanging onto the doorknob. She quickly went into the apartment to help Tina to stand and kicked the door shut.

Are you ok? asked Bette in concern while guiding Tina into her room. Tina shook her head no. Bette could feel from their physical contact that Tina is blistering. After helping Tina into her bed, Bette put her palm on Tinas forehead. Did you go to a doctor?

Settling into the bed, Tina rested for a while before answering Bette. Sorry, yeah Dave brought me to a doctor just now replied Tina trying to stay focus on Bette but was failing miserably.

Bette continue to stare at Tina with worries written all over her face. I just took my medicinesore throatfever explained Tina shutting her eyes with her hand over her forehead.
I feel hot, Bette complained Tina.
Ill get you a wet towel. Said Bette getting up from the bedside.

Bette came back with a wet towel, folding it up, she sat herself slowly down at the edge of Tinas bed. Tina has passed out. Slowly and carefully, Bette applied the towel onto Tinas forehead. Tugging Tinas hands under the blanket, Bette refold the towel and put it back onto the blondes forehead. Bette studied Tina resting on the bed for a while, she felt a great responsibility of taking care of the blonde and realized that she was indeed really care about Tina and would do anything to take the pain away from her. Tina moaned once in a while in pain and it hurt Bette more watching her love of her life fell sick.

Looking at her watch, Bette counted the time for Tinas next medicine intake. She checked on Tinas refrigerator and seemed like Tina had not gotten her grocery since they had only landed at NY yesterday. Bette decided to do some shopping so she went out from the door to a supermarket nearby.

Four hours later, Bette woke Tina tenderly. When Tina opened her eyes, Medicine time. Said Bette while helping Tina to get up. Are you hungry? asked Bette when Tina was sitting leaning onto the headboard. Shaking her head no, Tina noticed and felt the love from the way Bette looked at her. But take some soup before you take these medicine. Continued Bette while lifting a spoon of soup and brought it to Tinas lips. Tina was so touched and thankful. After swallowing the smooth creamy soup, Tina asked with a smile You cooked? Hearing that, Bette laughed a little ErmIm afraid that if I did so, Ill make you even more sick. Tina laughed and continued to let Bette fed her.

After taking her medicine, she laid down onto her bed. It was not comfortable to lie in the bed all day long, her body began to sore. Tina kept on changing her laying position in the bed to get a comforting position. But every position seemed to be increasing her soreness.

Seeing Tina laying uncomfortably and kept on changing her position, Bette put her hands on Tinas back and started to rub and massage it. Then Tina stopped moving on her bed and started to relax. When she felt Tinas muscle relaxed, Feeling any better? asked Bette. Mmm hmm nodded Tina on her pillow lying on her side with her back still facing Bette. Tina flipped to lie on her stomach to give Bette more access to her back, minutes later Tina started to sweat and fell into slumber.

Bette stopped her massage when she saw Tina was asleep, Tina had sweat a lot and the perspiration had soaked her shirt. Getting up, Bette went to Tinas closet to search for another clean dry shirt. She came back and put her hand on Tinas forehead to test her temperature, her temperature has declined. Hesitantly, with her heart thumping wildly, Bette lifted Tinas soaked shirt and put on the new shirt. Going to the other side of the bed, Bette slide herself under the cover, laying down facing Tina. Watching Tina sleeping peacefully, Bette felt at ease and dozed off soon.

Tina stirred and opened her eyes slowly; it was dark so she assumed it was late at night already. She felt so much better. Suddenly she heard rhythmic quiet breathing from her right side, she turned to see Bette sleeping soundly facing her. Teasingly, Tina used her index finger to trace the line from Bettes forehead to her nose tip. After studying Bette sleeping form and listening to the comforting rhythmic breathing for a while, Tina snuggled closer to Bette and fell asleep contently shortly afterwards.

Moments later, Bette opened her eyes swiftly realizing maybe it was time for Tinas next medication. But the sight of Tinas face so close to hers stopped her and her heart started to beat through her shirt. Tinas face was just mere inches away from hers; their lips were almost touching and she could feel Tina warm breathe on her face. She stared at Tinas lips and face intently. A jolt of electric current being sent down to her spine as her desire grew and her mind started to wander.

Bette snapped out from her fantasy of savoring Tina. She tilted her head to kiss Tina on her forehead. In the meantime, she was checking on Tinas temperature as well with her lips. It seemed like Tinas fever has gone, so Bette just settled there without bothering to get Tinas medicine from the kitchen anymore. Bette draped an arm over Tinas body and pulled their bodies closer. Then she dozed off and slept throughout the night peacefully.
