CHAPTER TWENTY SIX: The Gift
Wednesday Evening. The Planet.
“So.. what do you guys think?”
Tina Kennard asked in a small voice as she nervously wrung her hands under the table. Her eyes anxiously darted back and forth between the two people sitting in front of her. The seriousness on their faces scared her a little and she was now starting to develop second thoughts about coming to them for advice.
“You know what I want the most..” Alice and Shane read out loud the handwritten note on the bottom of Bette’s birthday invitation. The two members of F4 looked at one another with matching expressions and nodded their heads quietly, a subtle sign that they reached the same conclusion as the other.
“What?” Tina frowned as she observed the silent conversation happening right in front of her. “Do you guys know what she wants from me?” She leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table as she looked expectantly at the two. Tina held her breath as Shane slowly nodded her head in the affirmative and smiled.
“Porter wants sex.” Alice deadpanned, handing the invitation back to Tina. Shane grinned and nodded her head vigorously in agreement.
“Whaaat?!” Tina screamed as her eyes bugged out of their sockets. Well, she certainly didn’t expect to hear that. “You guys are joking right?” She laughed nervously, looking at Shane and Alice. She was hoping the two would break out into a laugh soon, but they just sat there looking at her blankly as they sipped their drinks. “I mean..” Tina swallowed hard and waved her hands around. “I know Porter is a horn dog, but that doesn’t mean that she wants me to have sex with her on her birthday..” She rambled, her mind starting to go in overdrive. “Who even asks for sex as a gift?” She giggled anxiously. “No one right?” She forced a laugh and looked at the two amused-looking girls in front of her.
“I would.” Shane smirked.
“So would I.” Alice seconded. “And I bet more than ninety percent of the world’s population would as well.” She grinned as Tina started fidgeting on her chair. Oh, this is too fun, she thought when the blonde started biting her nails.

Looks like Bette has no illisions about “Daddy” and what he may be up to. It cracked me up that James but the most expensive phone in the world for Tina. Off to read more!
