After having breakfast and packing up their belongings, Bette and Tina decided to take a stroll on the beach and a dip in the water before they needed to check out. The blue crystal water was still something that the pair could not get enough of and they delighted in the fact that they were experiencing the Pacific Ocean in a way that was unlike that of the California coast.

Like two teenaged lovers they talked, laughed and strolled along the shores, sharing warm embraces and kisses along the way. Setting down towels, they stared up at the blue skies, clouds dancing past on the light breezes, as they talked a bit more of the upcoming events on their vacation.

I cant believe it baby. Tonight well be on Maui, yet another island of paradise.
Mmmmmm..cant wait. And the girls are going to get in tomorrow as well.
Yeah. Its going to be fun with them here with us.
So are you implying that Im no fun?
Of course not baby. Damn you are more fun than I can handle sometimes.
Oh yeah?
Mhmmm.can you say lava flow?

Bette just smirked and shook her head as she remembered how she had taken Tina by surprise the night before. She cocked an eyebrow and threw her head in the general direction of the ocean, giving Tina that devilish Porter grin as she ran her long slender fingers across Tinas taut stomach, dangerously close to Tinas *****..

Why dont we see how the dolphins have fun?
Mhmmmmm Porter, I swear what has gotten into you? Must be something in the water
Or, it must be you.

Bette grabbed Tina and rolled her over. The pair laughed and rolled around on the sand, obviously happy and obviously in love.

As much as Bette wanted to have some mid-morning fun in the sea, Tina had managed to convince her otherwise. The couple went back to the bungalow, showered and got ready for check out. Their flight wasnt unlit later that evening, but Tina wanted to check out a few shops and pick up a few things before the headed for their next island destination.

After checking out of the Mauna Lani, they decided to head out to Kona first to walk around and do some shopping. Tina was hurrying excitedly in and out of shops as Bette followed behind rolling her eyes each time she heard Tina say that she wanted to go into a store. The bags in Bettes hands were growing and boy were they starting to feel heavy.

UmmmT?
Yeah?
Maybe you should slow down a bit on the shopping.
Why? Oh would you look at this! Its sooooo cute!
Yeah its nice. Well because at the rate youre goingyou wont be able to shop the rest of the trip. We wont have any room!
Dont worry babe. I got that covered. Ill just ask the girls to take home some of our purchases.
Cute. You had this planned all along didnt you?
Yup.
Hahahaalways the girl scout T, always the girl scout. Bet you thought out a plan ahead of time for any scenario that might arise on the trip didnt you?
Well almost any scenario.

With her last statement, Tina winked at Bette, and Bette knew exactly what she was talking abouttheir risqu romps in public that they shared together these past few days. Whether it was the lovers atmosphere that Hawaii created or it was just the beautiful company of Tina, Bette couldnt seem to get enough of her wife. Had they been anywhere else for vacation, the couple probably wouldnt even come up for air, they would have just ordered room service and stayed indoors to participate in extra curricular activities of another kind.

Definitely not! I mean this trip is just adding to our already great ***** life. Hahahaas if it needed any helpyou barely let us up for air as it isand nowwhew!

The women finished up shopping around in Kona and headed back to Kings Shops in Waikoloa for one last look around at local shops before heading off to the airport. Once at Kings Shops the pair realized that they didnt have lunch yet and decided to stop in at one of the restaurants on the waterfront. They ate a light Pacific Rim cuisine lunch at Roys talking and laughing all the way through the meal. Their ability to talk and talk with out ever running out of things to say was one of the things that had kept their relationship so strong over the years. Each day they awoke to the beautiful sight of the other laying next to them and each day the realized just how lucky they were to have found their soul mate to walk through life with.

After lunch, Bette and Tina shopped around for a while longer before heading back to Kona International airport. On the way, Bette kept looking off to the side of the road, seemingly looking for something, but Tina could not figure out what. Tina thought nothing of it and kept looking out at the white stones that were laid on the volcanic rock to spell out words and names. She was busy reading some of the declarations of love that were spelled out on the rocks when Bettes voice broke through her thoughts.

Hey look T, donkey crossing signs. Why do they have donkey crossing signs?
Remember the concierge told us about the wild donkey that roam the area between Waikoloa and Kona. You didnt see them when we first got in? And why are you looking at the signs anyway?
Oh nothing.

Bette kept driving for about another mile before pulling off to the side of the road.

Bette turned off the car, got out and retrieved a plastic bag from the trunk of the car. She made her way past the shoulder of the road and over to some of the black volcanic rock that lined the highway. Tina was straining her neck, trying to get a peek at what Bette was up too, but it was to no avail. After a few minutes, Bette was beaming as she walked back to the car to retrieve Tina.

Okay babe. I got the idea the first day that we arrived, and there is something that I want you to take a look at.

Bette led Tina over to the area that she had just been at and extended her arm in the direction of the lava rocks. There in white coral rocks were two intertwined calligraphy letters, a B and a T. The letters were surrounded by a heart, which framed the beautiful letters perfectly.

Oh my gosh babe, its beautiful!
Do you like it? I felt that we couldnt leave the island with out a sign of our love.
Baby, its the most loving thing that anyone has ever done for me. I love you Bette Porter.
And I love you Tina.

Bette stepped around Tina and wrapped her arms around the waist of her wife as they stood and gazed at the beautiful roadside artwork that Bette had created. Tears had formed in Tinas eyes as she lifted the camera to her eye to try and capture that loving gesture that Bette had just displayed. They stood staring at the intertwined letters, each realizing that it represented their love perfectly, intertwined always and forever. They stood there for a while longer before heading back to the car and to the airport.

Bette you little demon. No wonder you kept picking up those white coral rocks when we were at the beach.
Hahaha, I thought you didnt notice because you didnt say anything.
I was wondering what you were up to, and now I know. It was absolutely perfect babe, just perfect.

With smiles on their faces they continued driving under the warm Hawaiian sun, wind blowing in their hair. Before they knew it they were pulling up to the curbside drop off area at the airport. Since there was a long line for check in, Bette returned the rental car while Tina waited in line. Making it back just in time, Bette made her way to Tina who was already at the check in counter so that she and Tina could get the boarding passes for their flight. Upon receiving their passes they made their way through the security gates and into the waiting area for their Aloha airlines flight to Kahului, Maui.

They sat in the open air waiting area, taking in the late afternoon sky, watching the clouds dance among the changing colors and lighting up in gold, peach and vermillion. The beautiful display caused Tina to snuggle closer into Bettes arms, appreciating the beauty of the dusk sky as she listened to the heat beat of her lover.

Bette? Do you love me?
More and more each day.
I do too. You are my life.
And you are mine.

Bette leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Tinas forehead. Tina smiled up at Bette as she thought, Maybe I should tell her now.. Just as she was about to tell Bette what was on her mind, their flight was announced over the intercom.

Aloha airlines flight #69, bound for Kahului, Maui will be ready for boarding in a few minutes at gate 2.
Thats our flight T. Ready to head to Maui?
Yup. I cant wait. But Bette, there is something I wanted to tell you.
Uh oh babe, theyre lining up for boarding, we had better get going. You can tell me about it later.
Okay.

Tina got up and followed Bette to the boarding line, Maybe I should wait to tell Bette. It maybe better to tell her when we are somewhere other than an airport. she thought to herself as they took their place in line.

Bette smiled back at Tina as they waited to board their flight. She gazed at the woman that she had always felt embodied her dream of the perfect woman,

I love you T.
I love you too Bette.

They shared a small but loved filled kiss as the line started to move. Bette smiled at Tina as she pulled away,
