Chapter 3: Time to leave him behind for good
Eric was left stunned by Tina’s departure but he also felt angry and humiliated, so he decided to call Tina’s parents and explain to them that his wife has left him
“Kennard residence” It was Tina’s father that answered the phone. Eric knew Tina’s parents would be very disappointed and angry at her for leaving him
“Richard its Eric” Richard Kennard was a very proud man, who was adored his daughters especially Tina for the choices they had made in choosing their husbands and careers
“Eric, my boy, how are you and my lovely daughter?” Eric knew this was not going to go down well with Richard and he knew how Richard would react
“Tina’s left me” there was a tense silence on the other end of the phone. Eric gulps hard ‘Oh boy this isn’t going to be good’ thought Eric
“Did she give a reason?” Eric knew how this was going to sound but he knew he had to tell the truth
“She said she wasn’t happy” Then Sharon’s voice, Tina’s mother, could be heard in the background. She really wasn’t going to like what her husband was going to tell he
“Silly girl; Sharon and I will be on the first flight out to Los Angeles” Eric breathed a sigh of relief. Of anyone could sort Tina out it was be her parents
“I’ll see you soon then” Eric was pleased that Tina’s parents were coming to talk some sense into her because he didn’t want to lose her
“Sharon is going to flip” Eric already knew this to be true “Goodbye son” Richard puts the phone down and turns to his wife, who had a confused yet curious look on her face
“Tina’s walked out on Eric” Sharon couldn’t believe it, she stood in silence. How could Tina do this to her?
Next Morning
It was mid-morning; Tina had called in and asked for the day off. She had also decided to get the divorce process moving as quickly as possible. Bette had also just come off the phone to her assistant James telling him she was taking the day off; he couldn’t believe it
“Tina you ok?” Tina was in the kitchen preparing breakfast whilst Bette was getting dressed in her bedroom. Tina had slept better than she had in months in Bette’s spare room. Maybe it was because Bette was close by to protect her

Eric is a manipulative, pussy of an asshole. Who calls their wife’s parents to make her come back to him?? And these parents? They keep backing Eric and they deserve a Bette smack down! I can’t wait for more!
Thjat was soooooo lopw of Eric to call Tina’s parents. I hope that it turns on him when they find out that he tried to rape her.
Not a good thing that Tina’s parents will be showing up soon. Can’t wait for Bette and Tina to get to know each other better.

Hopefully when Tinas parents find out that Eric tried to rape her and everything else he has been doing, they will side with Tina, but somehow I don’t thnk they will. They will probably think that it was his right to “take” what was rightfully his or so he and they think. We know that Joyce can give him the smackdown of his pitiful life, and I hope she does. Hope she gives the parents a reading as well. Can’t wait. Thanks for posting.

Hey bettetina09, this chapter was interesting. I do think that Eric has acted out of turn by bringing in Tina’s parents rather than man-upping and dealing with the reality that his marriage is over.Tina and Bette are inching ever closer. Tina is doing the right thing by ending things with the weasle that Eric is before embarking on the voyage fo a lifetime with Bette.Alice was amused and delighted that Bette is falling for a straight girl.More please as Eric needs his comeuppance soon.Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
