Tina waited for Bette to get on the phone, she could feel heart racing, she didnt know if she was happy to be talking to the love of her life or if it was that she remembers all the hurt that Bette had caused them but either way she was going to face this head on.

Bette just stared at Kit for a few seconds, she couldnt understand who it could be, she knew that she was afraid to take the phone. Bette reached for the phone and took a deep breath.

Bette Hello this is Bette.

Tina Bette it is Tina.

Bette (Bette started smiling and was ready to cry) Tina, I still recognize your voice, anyway how are you. I am happy that you called I would like to talk to you.

Tina Bette, please dont get the wrong impression by me calling you because I didnt call you to talk about the old days or to catch up.

Bette (Bette feeling hurt and stupid) OH.

Tina Bette all afternoon Kenter has been asking me when he can see you again but before you agree to see and get to know Kenter, I want you to know that I will not allow you or I to make this about us, it is only about Kenter and the only reason I want Kenter to do this is because I have told him you are his mom too and Bette I know you didnt agree on it but make no mistake about it Kenter is your child too and I want you to be in his life if you want to.

Bette I would love the opportunity to get to know Kenter and T believe me I will respect your wishes, I dont want to cause you anymore pain.

Tina starts to cry at hearing Bette call her T. She had forgotten over the years how much the loved for Bette to call her that.

Bette Tina, are you still there?

Tina (Trying to cover up that she was crying) I am here, so can you see Kenter this afternoon or are you busy?

Bette That sounds good, when and where?

TinaYou can come by the house around 3:00, will you be okay to come over here, if it is to much for you I can meet you at the Plant.

Bette No, the house is fine Tina. I should give you my home phone and cell phone number for you can reach me direct if you need to.

Tina Thanks Bette, you can give me all of that when you get here, I will tell Kenter, he will be thrilled, so I will see you then. Good-bye Bette.

Bette Okay Tina, I will by soon. Good-bye T.

Bette handed Kit back the phone and told her everything that Tina had said. They said their goodbyes and Bette was off to the house that she shared with the only woman she has ever loved and will love. Bette felt nervous about going to that house and about being in the same room with Tina. She knew she told Tina that this was not about them and it was about Kenter and she agreed but now after thinking about Bette decided that she will do everything in her power to get back the woman that she knew that she was meant for and that woman was Tina Kennard.

Tina let out a deep breath after hanging up the phone, she was nervous about being in the same room with Bette after all these years but she had to do this for their sons sake. At that moment the doorbell rang, Tina knew that it couldnt be Bette, so who was at the door she walked over and opened the door, she saw the person that she didnt want to see right now since Bette was coming over, she knew this would upset Bette but she would have to deal with it. Tina let the man in.
