    The aftermath of destruction.

    B&T Beginning in Highschool(finally updated!)

    Tina felt nothing but betrayal as she sat with her shock stricken body wrapped in Bette’s arms. Her chest ached, a stabbing pain spreading slowly from beneath her ribs, to her head, to her limbs, until it was so intense that she convinced herself she couldn’t move. All she could bring herself to do, was sit, and cry. She choked on the sobs, finding it harder and harder to breathe; Bette’s arms locked in a vice grip around her trembling figure.

    “Why Bette?” spat Tina through her tears.

    “Don’t ask me that, T.” Bette ran her fingers gently through Tina’s smooth golden locks.

    The blonde stood suddenly, sending Bette backwards with a powerful shove, “I need to get out of here.”

    She scrambled towards the door, hands rubbing endlessly at her eyes to attempt to scrub the stinging hot tears off her lids. The flow however, refused to cease. She pushed past rowdy couples in the hallway, about to maul each other’s face’s off with tender kisses. She stumbled down the stairs, almost tripping over her own feet as she pushed out of the door before Shane could grab her.

    The lanky brunette saw her friend amble through the living room, and she quickly followed suit. She rushed after Tina, ignoring the classmates that she pushed out of the way. She reached out quickly, her fragile fingers looping around the girl’s wrist. “Tina!”

    “Not now, Shane.” Tina turned quickly, and her eyes showed nothing but true pain. Shane was taken back by the sight before her.

    “Oh my god, Tina…. What happened?” Shane pulled Tina to her, wrapping her arms around the girl’s shaking shoulders. “Why’re you crying? Where’s Bette? What the fuck happened up there?”

    Tina fell quickly into her friend’s caring embrace, her tears perspiring along the shoulder of Shane’s shirt. She struggled to find the words in her head, in her heart, anywhere. But suddenly, she was rendered speechless. There was nothing to say, nothing to do but cry. The pain was more than anything she had ever felt before, almost as if, her heart itself had been ripped out. It was cliche sure, but now Tina understood. She understood every lyric in every heartbroken love song, in every word of every poem. The pain in Romeo and Juliet. It was all coming to her now, at this moment. She too wished, that she could vanish from the planet at this instant, vanish before the pain overtook her entire being. “It’s over.”

    3. Bette needs to get her shit together, but Shane needs to back off a bit. Sounds to me like she is a little in love with Tina, why else would she attack Bette like that. Being mad because someone broke your best friends heart is one thing, but to just blindly go off on that person without even trying to find out why they did what they did, isn’t the best way of helping the situation. I hate to say it, but if I were Bette, I would have punched her as well. Great to see this story back!

    4. i love the story and thank god your back. though i do think you should start a sequel where both bette and tina have been though uni and have started their adult lives so then it won’t be so complicated
