In the morning Bette wakes up first and snuggles closer to the beautiful blonde wrapped in her arms.  They had spent their first night and early morning making love.  Bette lay there with her arms wrapped around the most beautiful woman she had ever seen.    The blond slept in her arms as Bette gazed upon and was lost in thought.  Bette never felt happier to wake up with someone in her life.  Yet she was also scared.  She genuinely loved Tina and wanted her in her life.  She wanted to protect her from the world if she could.  Bette knew herself better than she would let on.  She was quite good at hiding her true self behind her alpha personality.  Behind that strong alpha façade was a scared little girl who simply wanted to be loved and accepted just as she was.  Bette really wanted to share her life with Tina.  She never really wanted to do that with anyone before.  Would Tina be the first, the first she would allow to see who she real was?  Most of her life she spent guarding her heart, for the first time she was willing to let some one in.  What was it about Tina that drew her and made her want to expose herself, take such a big risk?  She brought things out in Bette that she didn’t even know where there. She made her feel deeply care for and unconditionally loved.  Tina was so nurturing Bette knew that she needed that in her life.  It was something she really never had before.  She was creative in ways that Bette wasn’t and Bette loved it.  She loved how Tina could make the smallest things seem so special.  Bette smiled to herself thinking of the lunches that Tina had sent to her over the past few weeks.  And how she always included something a little extra along with the lunch.  She looked forward more to the little surprises than the lunch it’s self.  Either it was some little trinket or a note that accompanied the meal and it simply made Bette’s day to be thought of by Tina.  Bette squeezed Tina even tighter against herself.

“If you squeeze me any tighter Babe I’ll burst.”  Tina says softly.
