They make it up and Tina is put onto a bed. Dr. Wilson starts her exam.
Bette is in with Tina holding her hand the whole time and Angelica is sleeping on her other arm. Dr. Wilson has given Tina something for the pain.
An hour later. Dr. Wilson is done with her exam.
“So doctor, what is it?” Bette asks.
“The baby is in some distress. Tina I’m am ordering you to a full bed rest. The only time you’re allowed out of bed is to the bathroom. I’ll have a nurse come home to you and take your vitals.” Dr. Wilson says.
“So the baby is okay?” Bette asks.
“Yes, for now. Tina this is important, you have to stay off your feet. He won’t make it otherwise.” Dr. Wilson says and looks straight into her eyes.
“I’ll do everything you say doctor. I’m not loosing another son.” Tina says and wipes away the tears. Bette holds her hand tightly.
“Okay. As soon as you get off your feet, the pain will go away.” Dr. Wilson says.
“Okay.” Tina says and gives Bette a weak smile.
Angelica starts to wake up.
“You are free to go home again. And remember Tina, stay in bed. If the pain comes back, you get right beck in here.” Dr. Wilson says.
“I will. Dr. Wilson? If you have to take him out now, would he be okay? Would he survive the birth?” Tina asks.
“Yes he will, but hopefully we have another month before we welcome him into this world.” Dr. Wilson says and gives the little family a smile.
They are on their way back home.
“Thank God he’s okay.” Bette says and looks over at Tina.
“Yeah. I feared the worst.” Tina says and starts to cry again.
“Oh, baby.” Bette says and then pulls into the driveway. She takes out Angelica and then helps Tina out and into the house. They all walks into the bedroom and Bette set Angelica down on the bed and then help Tina down after undressing her.
“I’m your slave from now on.” Bette says and leans down and kiss Tina softly on her lips.
“I like that idea.” Tina replies and smiles.
“I knew you would.” Bette says and smiles back.
Angelica moves on all four over to her mommy and stand on her knees and softly strokes Tina’s stomach.
Tina strokes Angelica’s head softly and Angelica then lay down in Tina’s arms.

I tried to refress my memory by going back and reading from the beginning. I made it through the first 20 but plan to return to the remaining chapters. I hope that Tina will be okay and that their little boy is in good health.
Please never have an African American be referred to as a slave. It is not cool and cannot be taken lightly. Cute Fan fiction!
