    In Memory of tbsaver

It is with absolute heartache, that I share with you the loss of a woman whose quick wit and open heart, touched every person she came in contact with…a woman I am privileged to have known and loved. On December 20th, Tracey Watson aka TBSaver passed away in Birmingham England. She was 39 years old.

As I sit here, trying to find the words to describe a woman who I absolutely adored, I just keep thinking about her writing. Please, take the time to read her story, “A Walk on the Wild Side.” By doing that, I think you will be able to see some of the wonderful characteristics this incredible woman possessed. I know it was her story that drew me to her in the first place…feeling a need to get to know the woman who wrote so beautifully. And, even though her story is not finished, just know that because it was Tracey who was writing it, there was never any doubt that Bette and Tina were always going to have a happy ending.

Smart….funny….sassy…kind…gentle…daring…understanding… *****…curious…vibrant…loving…exciting…intuitive…goofy… serious…adventuresome…and so incredibly generous of spirit. These are a few simple words that just barely touch the surface of who Tracey was as a woman, as a human being. However, the one word that will always remind me of her–the one quality that stood out from all the others–was that she was the truest of all romantics. You could feel it in her writing–you experienced it every moment as her friend.

She has touched so many women on this site. It was on this site where she met her best friend, who also lives in England. What a hoot it was to be around them! They were like two peas in a pod…totally hilarious to watch. And, when they really got going, I have to admit I had trouble following them because of their accents!! She met and became friends with other women on this site as well. Women from all over the world, of all different backgrounds…of all different ages. She cherished this online community of women. Cherished being a part of so many different lives. Please know that you all meant so much to her.

I will not presume to put words into her mouth, but I know she LOVED getting comments on her story. She was so cute about it…staying online after she posted a chapter, no matter how late it was, just so she could read the first couple of comments that came in! She was so into watching The L Word…and could talk about each and every episode. And, like many of us, she was a fan fiction addict!! I can’t tell you how many conversations we had about all the different stories! I was constantly amazed at how good her memory was. I am not kidding…she remembered EVERY story she read…and for the longest time, she read EVERY story posted! She also got a BIG kick out of different comments made on the discussion board. Tracey was an incredibly smart woman, with an incredibly smart sense of humor.

Tracey shared with me her dreams for her life. She wanted to buy a boat that she could live on…and then after that experience, she wanted to move back to Spain, where she had lived for five years, live in a villa, and write for a living. She loved her time in Spain, and she absolutely loved to write. They were beautiful and gorgeous dreams. And, I have no doubt she would have done everything in her power to make them her reality. What makes me so proud, and breaks my heart at the same time, is that she had sent a story off to an agent for representation, and they had contacted her, expressing great interest. She was so talented…so full of love that she wanted to share through telling a story.

Tracey Watson was a woman who was always thinking about everyone else. It was very important to her that she do whatever she could to make those close to her happy. She was kindness personified…and so incredibly loving. Tracey had the perfect combination of sensibility and romanticism….her personality was so inviting, making every one around her feel loved, and comfortable. Her favorite nickname for those in her life, was “flower.” I know that I smiled every time she called me by that name. All that, and she was an excellent cook as well!!

I ask that you take a moment to think about those you love…to remember why you love them. And, if you could, please add Tracey to your thoughts. I know that I will always cherish the time I was fortunate enough to spend with her…the hours and hours of instant messaging…the countless phone conversations…our time in San Diego and in England. I am just one of many whose hearts are heavy and who will miss her terribly.

    Comments

    1. I am just heart sick about the loss of our friend. Tracey was such a supporter of the show and this site. Because she gave her time to be a moderator and a writer on this site, I had the pleasure of getting to know her. No one could ask for a sweeter soul. My prayers are with her family and all of her friends. So many are hurting right now from her loss. Tracey, may your eternity be filled with happily ever after Bette & Tina fan fiction. I will miss you so very much. Jacky.

    2. I am at a loss of words. I loved TBSaver’s story. I don’t think I ever commented on it though, because it was before I got brave enough to start commenting. She will truly be missed. She was a wonderful writer. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Tracey, may you rest in peace.

    3. Wow such tragic news. TBSaver was definitely a staple to this site. My heart just dropped reading that. Beautifully written, Sea. I didn’t know Tracey except through her stories. Hers was one that I would look for daily and a huge grin would appear on my face as soon as I’d see that she had posted. Though I didn’t get the chance to know her, I believe that her personality came out in her story. I could always rely on her for a little Bette and Tina happiness to brighten my day. My heart goes out to everyone that Tracey touched. I will keep her and her loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. *Abbie*

    4. It’s really shocking and sad. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Here is possibly her last post in the discussion board:”Hi Bab, Don’t worry, you haven’t missed the interviews. Unfortunately after the convention I caught the flu, and haven’t really been in a fit state since! The interviews should be up on the site within the next couple of days Thanks tbsaver (12/11/05)”

    5. I cant believe that someone I hardly knew but who touched me so deeply with her words is gone. Our loss is Heaven’s gain and she will be hugely missed. My thoughts are with her family and friends. Tracey you were a wonderful women inspired so many. May you rest in peace.

It feels like someone just turned off one of the stars in the sky of this wonderful universe we live in here, she is in my thoughts, as are all who she touched in this life. I’m truely sorry. I’m with TiBetteShipper, my heart dropped reading this too, you can feel the love she spead to and build within her friends from u Seahurst, but I am truely sorry that uve had to write such beautiful words. May she rest in peace finding many happy B&T moments to watch in heaven, til we all get there to join her to party.. I’m sure the angels wont mind hanging out with her til then, she sounds like she’ll fit in with them fantastically.

    7. My thoughts and prayers are with you Michelle and Jacky for the loss of your beloved friend, with her family for the loss of their sweet daughter, and to everyone else whose lives she made just that much happier, just that much more joyful. May she find peace and love as she rests, and may her friends and family find the strength to mend their shattered hearts.

    8. This community will mourn with Tracey’s family and close friends. Her stories are so wonderful and she touched so many. Michelle, Jacky and her other close friends my prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

    9. I am shocked and saddened beyond belief to hear of the sad loss of Tracey. Less than a month ago we were sharing a wonderful couple of days in London at the Convention, and having so enjoyed her story and comments on the site, I felt priviledged to meet her, albeit briefly. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

    10. My heart is saddened by this news. She was a wonderful autor and I loved her ‘A walk on the wils side’. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

    11. I would like to take a moment and say thank you tbsaver. And to let you know that you will live on forever; immortalized through the precious gift that you have bestowed on each and every person that has ever read your stories. We might not have been priveleged to know you personally but through your stories I know you were an adventurous soul, free spirited and a romantic at heart. You will be dearly missed, rest in peace.

    12. this is really difficult to say something about a person that you knew and loved, knowing that she is not with us anymore. I feel prevelegded to have met Tracey in London and fins out that she was as a great as a her story. She was funny and witty and romantic and passionate and a very genuine person. On our first night of convention, when some of my frinds went to a bar, me, tracey and another wiriter from this site, Teelufan, stayed in the hotel’s restaurant and talked for ours about our stories and the show…it was one of the gretest nights i had there, to see other women who were as passionate about the show and the writing as i was…my thoughts and prayers go to all tracey’s family members and friends, to all who knew her and read her story and as Seahurst said, it would be definately a happy ending for B&T, just look at Tracey’s author’s name – tbsaver…wonderfully written, Michelle…it is heartbreaking and painful to know that someone you loved is gone, especially as this time of the year…i will miss her…B&TF

    13. As a fairly recent arrival to this site I only knew the last few chapters tbsaver posted, but it was clear she was one of the very best. It’s tragic to lose one so young and talented.

    14. Oh my, I am at a loss. I was just describing to a friend of mine the community that exists here and how the stories are written better than the show could ever wish to be. Tracey, you will be missed by so many here. To Tracey’s family, Jacky and Michelle, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    15. I did not know her personaly but was a reader of her story and was tuched by her through her writting , she will be missed. Reading the kind words Seahurst has used to discrib her, she was a lovely persone. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. Much love Brooke.

    16. wow- i didn’t know Tracey but what a tragic loss, and especially at such a young age. my thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends. best wishes to all.

    17. I am truly, truly saddened by the news of Tracey’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who had the good fortune of knowing her. Tracey was an amazing author and it did not surprise me to read that she would soon be represented.Thankyou, Michelle, for giving us a little insite into what a wonderful human being Tracey surely was. TBSaver was loved by many and will indeed be missed.

    18. I am at a loss for words…. Life is so very fragile and we are so very clumsy with its endings. I’ll never forget the encouragement Tracey gave me when I embarked on my first fan fic. Thank you Tracey and may these stories continue to give you hope and peace.M.

    19. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this inspiring woman. God must have needed an angel, and He called one home. TBSaver, you will be missed by all.

    20. I, as many that have commented before me, did not have the pleasure to know Tracey except through her exceptional writing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at such a difficult time.

    21. Like everyone else i’m typing this through a huge amount of tears. She was my favourite writer — the first writer whose work i printed out and read at work. she was also the first person who sent me a PM and i wrote back in gushing terms and probably made a pratt of self but she was really sweet and it encouraged me to contact other people.yesterday i was setting up my favourite authors and hers was the firstname.i loved that she was British and when she commented after one of my chapters she made a joke about the British invasion. Everything about “walk on the wild side ” was brilliant and it is so original. She “got “what B/T mean to so many women – that it is possible to have a long term stable relationship and still have the spark. she is going to be so missed and its going to take me a few months before I click on the site and not have the hope that TB has posted a new chapter.Thank you Tracey.

    22. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Tracey, I could feel her spirit through her amazing writing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and her friends. Pam

    23. Like everyone else in this community, I am saddened too by the loss of Tracey and my condolences to her family. I am sure that even though she is not with us anymore, her spirit will be and for all the fan fic writers and fans to keep supporting this fantastic community. I love her story and will really missed not reading the ending but like any stories that evolve around B&T – it is always with happy endings.

    24. Thank you for leaving your legacy here on the site Tbsaver for those who never got the privelege to meet you to read your amazing work. You will be sorely missed. I hope for the strength, courage and love to get her friends and family through. Sea, take care and comfort, in knowing she had a lot of people who loved her and that you loved her. I hope her story that the publishers took an interest in is deeply considered for publishing. Best wishes in a terrible time xxx

    25. I’m totally at loss for words.. I didn’t know Tracy but it’s too sad for words to describe the feeling I get at the loss of of a human soul..My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family..

    26. I was also lucky enough to meet Tracey at the convention and she made a big impression on me and I considered her to be a new friend and hopefully a future accomplice! I was so sad to hear that she had died and it is certainly a huge loss to everyone on this site and of course to her friends and family. I want to send my support out to Angela (angelak). I know she would want to share so many lovely things about Tracey, her best friend, with you all if she could. I’m sure that Tracey is in a peaceful place and that she’s surrounded by beautiful words about Bette and Tina and all of her loved ones. xx

    27. i rarely comment but i loved her stories and i wish i commented and got to know her…her stories were beautiful and i know that somewhere she is smiling knowing we are all finally commenting…she was always trying to get brighten Tina and Bette’s…and consequentially our…lives too…she will be missed

    28. A Friend From AboveHits: 2487 A friend from above,How could it be?With wings that glimmer with gold,A tiny little tear to show that you care,A whisper to touch the soul,One sweet little kiss to rejoice in life,And two hearts to beat as one,With little blue eyes that light up the world,And a hand to hold in yours,A friend from above,How could it be?To share such a love.

    29. A strong spirit lives on in the memories of her friends and family. I did not have the honour of knowing Tracey, but it is clear from the comments that she was a special person. I hope to respect a life well lived by taking action to achieve my goals, just as she was clearly reaching to achieve hers. Thanks to Seahurst for providing this insight into someone who will be so obviously missed. My thoughts are with her loved ones at this difficult time.

    30. Sweet and kind, with a unique story, TBSaver was a gentle soul. I will miss her contributions to this site. Coincidentally two related events happened for me today. 1. I had the chance to read her interview with Laurel. 2. Curiously, I had thoughts about what would happen if something bad befell any of us who share/visit this site, how would the rest of us know? I made a mental note to give my SO a name or two to contact in the case of my demise. Unfortunately, such an event has come to pass for our community. This show and this site have given me so much. We’ve shared the occasional angst, our virtual tumescences and many, many laughs. And now, this. I’m at a loss…and so very, very sad for her family and friends. Words are not adequate for this, really, but they are how we have touched each other. God Bless you, TBS.

    31. A sadness has evoked me, I did not know TBSaver personaly, but through her writing she captivated & touched me with her beautiful words. RIP Tracey may your spirit reign free. God Bless.

    32. I totally agree with Techgal, words seem very inadequate. What a simple tragedy that can cause such pain from losing a loved one with so much to look forward to in life. The british sense of humour was a very obvious part of TBSaver’s personality – its contagious. My deepest sympathies to her friends and family. And thank you l-word.com for giving us the opportunity of knowing such people who enhance our lives, and for allowing us to grieve together for a wonderful human being. Life really does suck sometimes!

    33. I, like most everyone else, don’t really know what to say. Though I feel I should say something. I didn’t know Tracey, but spoke to her a bit through PMs and I adored her writing. She seemed a truly lovely person and she will obviously be greatly missed. My condolences to her family and friends. And a huge thanks to her contributions to this community.

    34. I am so saddened to read this. I only knew Tracey through her writing, and based on that, she was one hell of a gifted woman. Tracey, your presence will surely be missed and your writing will live on in my heart. RIP Dear One.

    35. Thank U for the tribute to TB, may love, jow and peace be with all at this time of year and throughout 2006. This is a reminder of how prescious life truely is.

    36. I have been on this site since it began……and unfortunately i never made the time to get to know tbsaver, however……her fic was awesome……and from that, i believe that she is a wonderful person……and great friend to all……my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all of her friends and family……may god bless you all…….

    37. I’m truly saddened that we have lost someone so precious. This is just that a great lost. Tracey if you are looking down on us know that we will always remember you and that you live on in your stories.

    38. i only met this wonderful lady once, while at the l-word con in november but i can truly say that she was a very warm and gentle lady with whom i had a open and friendly chat. she will be truly missed. rest in peace sweetheart.x.x.x.

    39. I’m at loss for words…She will be missed immensely and be remembered forever. My toughts, prayers and condolences go to her family and friends. God blees. Repose en paix.

    40. Though I did not know her she sounds like someone I would’ve liked to have known. A romantic whose story goes unfinished but whom you know would have written a happy ending for Tina and Bette, sounds like my kinda writer and my kinda person. My sincere condolences and wishes to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.

    41. I am so sad about losing Tracey. She touched my heart and I feel so honored to have met her and heard her amazing laugh. It was remarkable and unique, filled with a love of life. Can you imagine that you are young, recently out of college, all your friends are straight and you are always social, always out and about but you feel lost, alone. So one night late, you buy a ticket, to London and you decide to get there early because you don’t know anyone who is going. And you sit by yourself in the cold foggy morning after an all night flight at a lonely little hotel by an airport in a nearly empty restaurant and as you leave, tucking your shirt in and picking up your novel, eyes downcast…two women smile at you from a nearby table and warmly ask if you are here for the convention and then you talk, and you start laughing and they start laughing and you pull up a chair and then you’re all laughing to the point where you feel tears in your eyes, laughing about the show, writing on the website and about life. And then you feel so warm and welcomed and so incredibly happy. That night you get a call in your little hotel room…an invitation to dinner, and you find yourself talking about all the nuances of a show you love and suddenly you are with people who know and understand you. Suddenly you feel so alive that you have found such real kindred spirits. The waiter has to ask you, Tracey and BT&F to leave because no one is left in the restaurant. Then the next night, aglow from meeting Laurel in person, three women traipse into your room at two-thirty in the morning and you sit around a bed all laughing and drinking wine and telling your coming out stories much like the character did in the show at Dinah Shore and suddenly you feel that you’ve made friends forever. Well, Tracey was one of those women, in fact she and Seahurst were the one who talked to me in the morning making me so happy and Tracey asked you to dinner to join BetteandTinaForever. I will forever be grateful to the kindness she showed and love that she shared. I am privileged to have only gotten to know her better and wish he hadn’t been that brief brilliant weekend. She will always be in my heart. My heart breaks for her dear friends. She will be missed.

    42. I too am truly saddened to hear of the loss of tbsaver. I did not know her personally, only through her story and comments we made back and forth to one another regarding our stories. She was always incredibly kind and warm. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends as they go through this heartbreaking time. TBsaver will be greatly missed, as she was truly one in a million. :(

    43. i am speechless. gutted. shocked. i thought i’d read the headline wrong. i can’t believe we’ve lost Tracey. Her story was one of the funniest i’d ever read… she was indeed talented and wonderful. she will be sorely missed… my sincerest condolences to her family and friends. sandy

    44. I am at a complete loss for words. My heart goes out to Tracey’s family, friends, and all those touched by her breathtaking writing. I don’t know if this is allowed. . .but Tracey’s story is one of the most beautiful, descriptive and passionate that I’ve ever read. So, I thought that I would share one of my favorite passages. . .Tracey, where ever you are, I hope you see this vivid, and breathtaking picture everyday. . .”The two women watched as the pure snow changed it’s hues, from gentle warm pink, to fierce burnt orange, it almost looked as though the now dormant Volcano had once more decided to vent it’s anger on the rich grasslands. Eventually the burnt orange faded slowly to be replaced by a rich lavender, They watched as the sky grew darker, and the first few stars came into view, soon to be joined by a thousand others, each glittering against the velvet black of the now night sky.“Thank you” Bette whispered as she once again turned to Tina, the glistening of unshed tears showing up in her eyes.“For what?” Tina whispered back, her own emotions playing havoc with her senses.“For allowing me to see this. . .”-TBSAVER (Thank you)

    45. I have gone back and read her story and love it even more than the first time. She was an amazing woman and I wish that I would have gotten the chance to know her. She was a brilliant writer and I know that she would have accomplished her dream. I hope that she looks down on all of us with fond memories of fun comments and emails. Sea….I wish that we could help you with your pain and sorrow but know we are here for you if you need anything. To her family and friends…she was a joy and blessing to our lives. rest in peace friend.

    46. No matter how often you experience the pain of losing someone, it never gets easier. Whether it be a family member, friend, co-worker or even someone who simply commented on a story you wrote…For a writer and actress it’s hard to be at a loss for words yet here I am. I wish to send my deepest condolences to Tracey’s friends, family and fans. Tracey, your story was nothing short of a gift. I may not have always taken the time to comment, but i always read. You will be missed. Some of you may have read what i am about to type…i left it in the summay of my story a long time back, but it helped me so much when i lost my father. After my fathers funeral a rabbi approached me. He handed me a glass of water and a bowl of sugar. He asked me to put some of the sugar in the glass of water. I did. He told me to stir…i did. He asked me if i could see the sugar. I said yes. He then instructed me to keep stirring, i obliged. After the sugar dissolved he asked me if i still saw the sugar. I said no. Then he told me to take a sip of the water…i did. He said ” can you taste the sugar?” I said “yes”. He smiled and said ” Just because you can’t see something, doesn’t mean it isn’t there…”I leave you all with this and hope it comforts you as it has me. ~Rachel

    54. My condolences to all that were fortunate to have personally know this fine woman. It’s like losing a family member, in this endearing community of ours. The lights of the world seemed to have dimmed slightly, with the loss of what we’ve come to enjoy of this bright and happy soul. May she rest in peace, and may we continue to be supportive and of some comfort to each other, as we mourn our loss. Thank you to all those that shared her spirit with us.

    55. I have learned over this past year that we here, have become a family. When we lose one of our own it’s hard to take. Tracey was truly a talented person and she will be missed. 60. Unfortunately, I didnt know Tracy personally, so tell me, how the hell does a 39yo with ‘the flu’, die so young?!! My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Tracy at this desolate time. As i often say to family members where i work – you never get used to it, you learn to live with the loss, when it gets all so hard, stop, shut your eyes, visualise Tracy at your most favourite time/s and just breath……RIP young lady, a bright light extinguished way way way to early.

    61. We read the stories and leave our comments but some like myself never really communicate with the authors. When a tragedy like this happens it is surprising how deeply it affects you and how you realise that you have a kind of connection with them just by reading their stories.I enjoyed TBsaver stories and it is sad to hear of her passing.Rest in peace Tracey, your stories will live on

    62. I didn’t get to meet Tracy, but I feel like I met her through her beautiful writing. My heart goes to her family and friends. Much love. She will be remembered.

    64. It is very sad to say goodbye to someone who is so young and vibrant. My thoughts and prayers go to Tracy’s family, friends and this community. May she continue to touch people with her words even if her life was too short. Hope she’s in a better place, smiling down as she reads all the comments. – Mel

    65. Hey…It’s hard to find words, even if i didn’t knew Tracey; I’ve read her story it’s one of the best I’ve ever read (especially the chapter 10). This woman was very talented and deserved her stories to be published. Her writting was beautiful..plus you all who knew her said she was a really great person, it’s sad to lost her; I would like to express my condolences to the family. it hav not to be permitted dying as young with a great life before us, without finishing what we started (your story for example Tbsaver..). 66. So much of what I’ve wanted to say has been pretty much been said by everyone else. But at the risk of being a klutz, I’ll give it a shot. Tracey’s life, hopes, dreams and contributions to this site will not be forgotten. Tracey, you left us too soon, but what you’ve left behind is something special that shall be carried proudly by the rest of us forever. My heart and prayers go to her family, friends and to everyone here. Tracey, you are truly missed.

    67. So sad to hear of the death of this wonderfully talented woman. I always enjoyed her stories. She will be sorely missed as well as her wonderful wit and gift for the turn of a good yarn.

    68. I am so shocked.. I know I’m new here, but I really looked up to her, since she was always so involved and devoted to this site and what it means. She really will be missed.

    69. I’m sorry I never got to know Tracey. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her friends and family at such a sad time. A great loss to us all.R.I.P. *Denise*

    70. Truly a remarkable tribute for a remarkable person. I don’t possess the appropriate words to relay the sadness I feel for those lucky enough to have known Tracey. May her light continue to shine and may we continue to bask in its warmth. Wishing you comfort and peace in the hours, days and months ahead. Wishing you love right now.

    71. I just needed to say I am so sorry for all her friends and family for losing such a beautiful spirit way too soon. That was a beautiful tribute Seahurst. I loved TBSaver’s writing and she was a true romantic. She was a main reason that made me want to write because her work was so inspiring. I am just so sorry I didn’t get a chance to tell her before now. Tracey thank you for your amazing talent and for supporting of all the aspiring writers on the site. Thank you for being an example to all of us on how much a heart can love. May you have an awesome time in heaven, you’ve more than earned it by all your beautiful deeds here on earth.

    72. What a sad thing to come across and what a beautiful tribute, Sea, to what appears to be a beautiful person. Like many of you, I only knew tbsaver through her stories and even for that encounter, I feel lucky for having gotten a glimpse. My heart definitely goes out to her family and friends and all in this community who are mourning the loss of a wonderful woman.

    73. I am so sorry to say that I only knew TBSaver through her writing but that alone was enough for her to touch my life. She will be sorely missed, along with her beautiful story and lust for life. May you find the happiness and peace you deserve…. My thoughts go out to her friends and family, may they find solace in the love and memories that she left behindNix

    74. I am truly heart sick at this news. I loved her story. I’ve been to Africa and her story brought me right back there. I didn’t comment enough and for that I am sorry. Jacky, Michelle my thoughts and prayers are with u and all of Tracey’s other friends and family. Rest in Peace, Tracey.

    75. I give many thanks for the joy you have brought to our lives, Tracey, and for the opportunity to ‘know’ you. I’m sure Tracey would thank you, Jacky, for giving us this great forum to meet & greet and she would also thank you, Seahurst, for this great eulogy…as we all give thanks also. My condolences – Rest in PEACE, Tracey, our friend!

    76. I am fairly new to the site and thus, was not familiar with Tracey’s work, though I understand your heartache and loss with losing a beautiful person. From how you described her she was a wonderful, dream-filled human being and no matter of how familiar I am, I feel deeply sorry for her. She is a woman, just like us, and a writer, just like us. It is terribly hard to deal with loss, to cope with it…but, as my friend told me when her mother passed, ‘her journey’s just begun.’

    77. I keep thinking that I will wake up and this will have been just a bad dream….I like many of you became a fan as soon as I read the first chapter of A Walk on the Wild Side was posted. I was always hoping for the next chapter to be posted and this wonderful ride Tracey was taking us on would continue – (I think she knew I was a huge B&T SAP)…. I am also sure A Walk on the Wild Side was going to have a “happily ever after ending”.Michelle thank you for your very eloquent words, in what I can’t even begin to image is a very difficult time.Jacky thank you for this forum so that we were all able to experience Tracey’s gift of words & wonderful spirit, she like the rest of us are able to be part of this community.Flower may you rest in peace and I will be forever thankful that I had the privilege of reading your wonderful words and your kindness will never be forgotten. Your time here was not nearly long enough but this is better place because you were here. Your parents, family & many friends will be in my thoughts and prayers.

    78. I was truely shocked to go onto the site last night and find this sad news. My sympathies go out to Tracey’s friends and family.I loved her story, it is such as shame that it will never be finished.Michelle I am sorry for the loss of someone that you cared for.Your eulogy touched me.

    79. Such sad news. Can’t believe that her last interview only recently appeared in the front page of this webpage. Rest in peace tbsaver. You’ll be missed.

    80. Words can’t even begin to convey the depth of sadness I am feeling at this moment. It is absolutely tragic to have such a beautiful person taken from this earth so soon. I hope we can all take some comfort in knowing that someone has a bigger and better plan for her in heaven. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Tracey’s family and friends during this heartbreaking time. Her presence will be missed by all.

    81. At this time of Christmas cheer, it is difficult to absorb the reality of this heartbreaking news. The measure of a person is the ripple they leave in the great pond of life and Tracey was a boulder given the fitting and lasting testaments given here.A truly magnificent legacy has been left for all to savour and enjoy for the future. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Tracey’s family and friends during this desperate time.

    82. My deepest condolences to Tracey’s family and friends. I do not know her personally but have read her fic. I hope all efforts will be made to get her book published and make her a dream of her’s come true.

    84. I pray comfort and peace to all who are affected by this tragic loss. When we lose one of our own, it causes me to appreciate all of you the more. For all of you who read this, know that you are special, valued and cared for, just for being uniquely you.

    85. If ever there was a prefect time to relate my feelings only a look outside is needed. The sky is pitch black, the rain is coming down heavy and fast you can’t see in front of you. The cold air rushes past me sending shivers up my spine spreading goose bumps in it’s wake. Right now my soul bleeds out the only way it knows. There’s to much I want to say, what to do when you lose a close friend? Lets start with “thank you” to this site and T. It was a brave women posting a new story that sparked our friendship. From comments to emails to IMing to phone calls and finally meeting up, it has been more then wroth it. This short amount of time has let me make a connection that never will be forgotten. I will deeply miss Tracey, my thoughts are with her family especially Clair

    86. I have no words… usually in this kind of situations I’m the kind of person that seems to have no heart… I dont know how to act, what to say, if I’m supposed to be standing up or not… at the end I always finished just taking a place a few steps behind the friend or relative I’m trying to give my confort and stay there, in silence, just being there in case my friend or relative need something… Now I have no place to be… I used to read her stories as other ones, and it seemed that we all knew her,… it’s really hard… Now, I have no friend to stand by her or his side… now is the friend who is gone…Dont know what to say coz my words are not enough for those of you who really met and loved her but one things it’s true… we’ll missed her… My heart will be with your family and friends Tracey, at least a little bit… As long as I believe that true love and true friendsship never dies… just dont forget them Tracey.

    87. I am still shocked at this sad news and, like many others, I’m at a loss for words. My deepest condolences to Tracey’s loved ones. Tbsaver, you will be dearly missed.

    88. I just read the first chapter of “A Walk on the Wild Side” and I can already see how and why so many people fell in love with tbsaver’s writing. I’m sorry I never found this story sooner. Based on things folks have said about her as a person, I can tell she’s someone I would’ve wanted to have around. She and her family and friends are in my thoughts.

    89. The power of the written word can evoke deep emotions and make us laugh or cry or scream “Oh My God!” The ability to convey feelings through the gift of composition is a tool of mass instruction connecting us so strongly to a story. We read with our mouths agape in wonder or horror; we shake our heads in disbelief or nod a solitary acknowledgement because we can relate to the script before us. We are drawn to pieces of literature because the author is a great story teller – SHE IS ONE OF US – hooking us, holding us, sucking us in, making us believers – addicts craving more of the same. We don’t know personally many of the writers we read and re-read on this site, but we mourn the loss and feel the emptiness and wonder if the void will ever be adequately filled. THANK YOU TRACEY. May your friends and family find comfort and joy in the fact that you are so well liked, loved and admired by oh so many. ~:(

    90. I couldnt belive when i read tht Tracy was no more with us….I was her huge fan and loved the way she wrote and brought the characters we all so love closer to us with her writing and imagination. She would always be rememberd inour hearts.May her sould Rest in peace.Ivy

    91. i feel incredibly sorry to say that i didn’t know her personally. but as i grow closer to the family of this site i feel more and more connected to her and her heart. as she was one of the people who helped me flow better with my writing. her story i know has kept on edge and wanting more. it’s goin to be hard goin through the site without seeing her post but like most tragedies i’m counting on the family of this site for support and help through this. i know we can help anyone with any type of pain they’re feeling from this loss as Tracey would’ve done the same. so it is with a sad and heavy spirit i say to her thank you and goodbye, sweetie. we love you. PEACE.

    92. I’m so sad – the loss of someone so young and talented who touched so many people is just overwhelming. I didn’t personally know Tracey but everytime she posted she brighten my day and for that I’m forever grateful. All my thoughts go out to her family, friends and loved ones. Hansen

    94. My condolences for her family and those who knew her. I know I have wondered if something happened to someone on ths site, how would we know? In this case, though, she was remembered in a wonderful tribute by Seahurst.

    95. wow . all these comments are a faithful testimony to Tracey’s input, legacy and creativity, as we all witnessed on our site, is truly overwelming. While I did not know Tracey personally, I LOVED & commented on her stories and because of her intensive, chromatic and episodic chapters I sort of feel that I was able to meet her in abstentia. Wow, 39 – what a truly sad sad loss. All throughout the day i just kept having the tag name TBSaver come into in mind over and over again – it’s weird, but i truly feel a true sense of loss and am so touched to find out that i am not alone with experience. I will keep her and her loved ones in my prayers and also try to remember that life is truly and only, lived one day at a time and that much attention in one form or another needs to be paid to that day. I wonder if any of the cast attendees have heard about this terrible event. I gather that Tracey interviewed Laurel – I wonder if cast members who attended the London LWord Convention has received this news. Because as it has been so beautifully and concisely stated, Tracey was an uncommon, remarkable, warm woman who eminated love. I’m positive she was seen and quite fondly noticed. Her absence in the physical realm will be sorely missed. Peace, love and prayers to her family, friends and everyone else who has been touched by this woman.

    96. i didnt not know her personaly but just by looking at all the wonderful things everyone had to say about her she must have been an exceptional person. i will pray for her, her family and friends. RIP Tracey

    97. My deepest condolences go out to all of Tracey’s friends and family. Seahurst mentioned about Tracey getting an agent. Well, I hope her stories get published because then more people will get to know her writing. I will definitely be a proud owner of a “Tracey Watson” original. Farewell…

    103. I too would like to express my condolences to Tracey’s friends and family. A loss so young is a loss too soon. I did not know her personally. 104. I am deeply saddened to hear about tbsaver, our beloved Tracey.
