Bette was in the parking lot of the local supermarket when she saw her favorite blonde. Tina. She didn’t know what to do, call her name or just continue to walk to her car. The choice was made for her. Tina turned around and smiled at Bette. She walked at her. Bette felt hands getting sweaty. ‘Damn’ she cursed in her head. ‘Why do I feel so weird when I see her?’

Tina: Hey, Bette. How are you?

Tina was forcing herself to not look at Bette’s bare legs that were very visible because she was wearing a short skirt.

Bette: I’m good, Tina. How are you?

Tina: I’m great. I’m going to The Planet for a coffee, you want to join me?

Bette swallowed.

Bette: Yeah, I would love to. Will Alice and co be there to?

Tina: No, you will have to do with me…

Bette: I don’t have a problem with that. I just going to drop my stuff off at home and I meet you there in half an hour? Good?

Tina: Yeah, sure

Bette arrived in The Planet, looking for Tina. She found what she was looking for. The blonde was sitting in the corner of the café. She walked to the table and sat down next to the blonde.

Bette: Hey, here I am.

Tina chuckled. Bette’s heart almost melted.

Tina: I see that.

The waitress came and took their orders.

Tina: I actually wanted to ask you something…

Bette saw that Tina was nerves.

Tina: I wanted to ask if you… Hum… If you… maybe… wanted to…Hum…

Bette looked puzzled.

B: What?

T: DoYouWantToGoOutWithMe?

B: Are you asking me out on a date?

Tina immediately felt stupid. She was straight. God… Bette wanted to say something but the waitress arrived with their drinks. When she was gone Bette started to talk.

Bette: Yes.

Now it was Tina’s turn to look puzzled.

Bette: I would love to have a date with you.

Tina smiled. So did Bette.

Tina: Really?

Bette: Yes, really… How does Saturday sound, around 8?

Tina’s smiles grow bigger.

Tina: Very good. What do you think of dinner in Bésame? It’s a little, Spanish restaurant and it’s close to a lake.
